They are enabled by default in LEGO Fortnite Expert Mode, but can also be enabled for Sandbox and Survival worlds when starting a new world in the Create World settings. Storm-Wild enemies are found randomly throughout the LEGO Fortnite world, and almost any hostile enemy, except hostile bears, can appear as a Storm-Wild variant.

Storm-Wild enemies can be defeated much like their normal counterparts, but players must be very careful because these enemies move much faster and have higher health and damage. LEGO Fortnite players can quickly take down these storm-infected enemies with swords and crossbows, as well as bring a villager with them to lend a hand.

Methods to obtain storm cores

Storm-Wild enemies will drop Storm Core along with the usual items their regular counterparts drop once they are defeated. Storm Core is a crafting item primarily used to create a Return Totem, which is used to escape permanent removal in expert mode.
