How to Get Health or Shields at an Oasis Pool in Fortnite?
The Oases have taken on a whole new function with the release of Chapter 5, Season 3. They now offer protection and health, and all you need to enjoy these tranquil pools of water is to step inside.
You will regain one hit point or one shield per tick every second you are in an oasis. The Oasis prioritizes health over shields and will not begin regaining shields until its health bar is completely full. When this is said, it is very slow. Therefore, it is not recommended to waste time here unless you are desperate or just a few steps away from having full health or full shields. And at the beginning of the game, it is better to look for small or medium shields than to go directly to the oasis. That said, there are five shelters available in the southern part of the Fortnite map if you need to find shelter and regain health. In the following areas, you can find an oasis:
- Heading east of the Nitrodrome
- Near Brawler Battlefield
- Southeast Redline Rig
- It is located northeast of Brutal Beachhead.
- Northeast sand steppes
Unfortunately, these oases are very far from the most popular places. But it's not a bad place to take a dip if you're escaping a storm or in between places. However, River Styx Underworld Jump is much more useful and cooler than the Oasis' slow health recovery.
