The Oasis prioritizes health over shields and will not begin regaining shields until its health bar is completely full. When this is said, it is very slow. Therefore, it is not recommended to waste time here unless you are desperate or just a few steps away from having full health or full shields. And at the beginning of the game, it is better to look for small or medium shields than to go directly to the oasis.
