How to Beat a Spire in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions

Players diving into LEGO Fortnite Expeditions are in for a wild ride, with tons of content to uncover and a whole lot of action. As players embark on their journey in this PvE mode, they can select and upgrade their Hero Class, secure powerful weapons and items, and take on various missions to progress.During these missions, players will complete quests and face off against formidable enemies. One of the toughest foes players might encounter is the dreaded Spire, which is also tied to a quest that offers a hefty XP reward upon completion. Here's how to defeat a Spire in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions.

Where to Find a Spire in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions

Spires are enemies that players can occasionally encounter in any mission in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions. However, there are two specific missions that significantly increase your chances of facing one:

Spire Slayers Mission: This mission guarantees a Spire boss fight at its conclusion.

Any mission at the Spire Excavation Site: Missions in this location offer a high probability of a Spire appearing as the final objective.

Once you load into one of these missions, you'll first need to complete the initial two objectives. These objectives can vary but will always be displayed on your screen for reference, and their locations will be marked on your map.While completing these objectives, keep an eye out for essential gear such as Health Gadgets, Armor Gadgets, Super Smoothies for healing, and weapons of higher rarity. These items can be acquired from eliminated enemies or found in Chests throughout the mission. After the initial objectives are complete, you'll be able to take on a boss for the final objective, which will be clearly marked on your map and compass.

How to Defeat a Spire in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions

Once you receive the objective to defeat a Spire, head to the marked location to begin the boss battle. For most of the fight, the Spire will be invulnerable to attacks. You can only damage it when it slams all three of its floating masks onto the ground, causing them to glow yellow. These glowing masks are the Spire's weak points, and targeting them during these brief windows is the only way to chip away at its health.

When the Spire is invulnerable, it will unleash several attacks that you'll need to avoid:

• Spire AOE Attack: One of the Spire's floating weak points will be raised and slammed into the ground, creating an Area of Effect (AOE) attack. To avoid takingdamage, back away from the Spire when you see a weak point being raised. Once the weak spot is on the ground, you can shoot it.
• Mask Ranged Attack: Occasionally, the Spire will fire multiple mask projectiles fromdiamond-shaped portals. These can lock onto your player. To avoid them, strafe left or right, utilize dodge rolls, or take cover.
• Laser Attack: This attack is easily anticipated by a large wind-up time and a red glow from the center of the Spire. To avoid it, back away either forward or backward, as the laser will slowly arc from right to left.

Players should also be mindful of the large groups of enemies that continuously spawn during the boss fight, as it's easy to get swarmed. Utilizing AOE abilities like the Hunter's Frenzied Hunt can be an excellent way to dispatch multiple enemies at once.

By successfully avoiding the Spire's attacks and consistently dealingdamage to its weak points when they are vulnerable, you'll be able todefeat the Spire. The player who lands the final blow will also complete the "In-Spired" quest, earning a substantial 30,000 XP upon completion.
