The iconic rapper and singer Doja Cat is featured as a temporary mini-boss in Fortnite during the Fortnitemares event, granting unique loot and the chance to recruit her as a powerful NPC ally.

How to Find and Defeat Mother of Thorns Doja Cat in Fortnite

1. Mother of Thorns Location

The Mother of Thorns' spawn location is not fixed but rotates between three distinct points of interest (POIs). When she is present at one of these spots, a skull icon with a crown will appear on your map when you are close to the area, and Doja Cat's music will often be playing as you approach.The three primary spawn locations are:

• Freaky Fields: Close to the massive red barn toward the southern end of the area.
• Gourdy Gate: Located around the middle region of this POI.
• Near Supernova Academy: Situated near the center of the Halloween-themed area, slightly southwest of Supernova Academy.

At all locations, you will find the Mother of Thorns sitting on a glowing red throne made of twisted vines, which can blend into the environment, so look carefully.

2. How to Defeat Doja Cat

The Mother of Thorns is considered a mini-boss and has minimal health andshields compared to main bosses, making her relatively easy to defeat.

• Strategy: No special mechanics are required to take her down. Simply fire at her with your best weapons until her health bar is depleted.
• Watch for the Thorn Ripper: Be cautious of her main weapon, the Thorn Ripper. This item can pull you toward her with its secondary attack, which is the primary threat in the fight.Maintain a careful distance, but be ready to fight up close if you arepulled in.

3. Mother of Thorns Boss Drops and Rewards

Upon successfully defeating the Mother of Thorns, she automatically drops several valuable items and becomes a companion.

Item Dropped	Description
Mythic Thorn Ripper	This is the exclusive boss drop. It is a Mythic-tier weapon that is areskinned version of the Chain of Hades from Chapter Five, Season Two.It is a powerful melee/pull weapon.
Weapons and Healing	She also drops various standard weapons and healing items, such as Slurp Juice, to replenish your inventory.
Hired NPC Ally	After being defeated, the Mother of Thorns immediately becomes a hired NPC who will follow and fight alongside you for the rest of the match. Like all NPCs, she can be eliminated if she takes too much damage, soprotect her if you want to keep her!

Note: The Mythic Thorn Ripper is a unique item with special properties,including the ability to pull players and consumables toward you, making it a highly desirable piece of loot.
