Nettle can be found in the wild, often in somewhat secluded locations. Its lack of distinctive features makes it difficult to spot among other greenery. Pay close attention to patches of deep, dark green vegetation, particularly around ponds, lakes, field furrows, farmlands, and beneath large trees where it grows in the shade. The shadows in the game can further complicate identification.While nettle can be purchased from apothecaries and herb sellers in towns and villages, it is often sold dried. Using fresh nettle for crafting potions, brews, and poisons yields better results.

Three good locations for farming nettle exist near Troskowitz:

• Lover's Nest: Downstream from the north side of Troskowitz, near the Lover's Nest point of interest, players can find approximately 20 nettle plants. This is the largest nettle patch in the area.
  
  
• West of Tachov: Beneath a lone tree west of Tachov, near a roadside camp, players can find about 8 nettle plants.
  
  
• Southeastern Troskowitz: Near a hay pile on the southeastern road from Troskowitz, inside the horse pen, players can find 6 nettle plants.

Plant Regrowth and Drying

Plants will respawn after a few in-game days, allowing players to return to these locations for restocking. Herbs can be dried in a drier to preserve them, but this will prevent certain alchemy bonuses, such as stronger poisons and potions, that are achieved using fresh ingredients.
