To survive this danger, you'll need to craft a protective Plague Doctor mask. This essential item is the focus of the "Prevention" quest, and our comprehensive guide will walk you through locating every material and assembling the iconic mask safely.

Unlocking the Plague Mask Recipe

Your first step in the "Prevention" quest is to discover how to create the protective Aromatic Oil, which unlocks the mask recipe itself. Head to the monastery library and locate the book resting on a lectern in the southwest corner. Reading this text will provide you with the knowledge needed to proceed.

Locating All Required Crafting Materials

With the recipe learned, you must gather the necessary components. Navigating the quarantine zone is a challenge, so use stealth to avoid guards while you collect these items:

• Aromatic Oil: Brew this at the alchemy station near Joachim's hut. You will need to find:
  • 3x Chamomile
  • 1x Sage: Found growing in the Woodland Garden on the eastern part of the map.
  • 1x Valerian
• Mint: This ingredient can be foraged directly from Joachim's garden.
• Leather: Search the shed located on the northern end of the map. Alternatively, check the construction site southwest of the monastery.
• Flax Rope: This material is also located at the construction site to the southwest.

How to Assemble the Plague Doctor Mask

Once you have successfully brewed the Aromatic Oil and collected all otheringredients, your quest objective will update. The game does not provide an explicit prompt for the final step. To craft the mask, you must goto the specific crafting table inside the infirmary. This table issituated directly opposite the alchemy station you used earlier.

Approach the table and interact with it. The game will then fade to black,confirming the successful creation of your Plague Mask. With thisformidable gear equipped, you are better prepared to face the horrors of the plague-ridden monastery and continue your journey in Kingdom ComeDeliverance 2.
