Horizon Zero Dawn: Fast Travel - Check our ultimate guide
Guide to learn how to fast travel in Horizon Zero Dawn The map that the Horizon Zero Dawn game brings us gives us the opportunity to travel the places in the way we want and as expected, one of the most traditional ways is on foot. Although this is normal in any adventure game, it may be that Sometimes you want to move quickly from one place to another, either because you have missions to complete and you are far from where you are so it becomes tedious.
Luckily, the game implements certain methods that allow you to move quickly through the map, and therefore, in this guide we will teach you how to fast travel.
How to fast travel in Horizon Zero Dawn?
To begin, you should know that there are at least 2 methods that allow you to make fast travel.
Bonfires
The first is to find campfires / settlements located around the map. Once you find one of these settlements, it should be marked in green on your map. You should then be able to just click on it and fast travel to it. How this method is shown only involves a quick trip to settlements / campfires.
Valuable resources
This method allows you to quickly travel anywhere, but requires valuable resources. This method requires you to find or purchase express travel packages. You can find them as quest rewards or just buy them from merchants for resources i.e 2x Metal Shards, 15x Ridge-Wood, 1x Rich Meat.
Being special products, it is to be expected that this last method will be expensive to carry out, but as we mentioned earlier, it is only an option.
But in case you want to try this method, you can implement it after completing "The city of the sun to Meridian", you can buy the Golden Fast Travel package. Unlike normal fast travel packages, this one allows you to fast travel an unlimited number of times, anywhere.
Buying the Golden Fast Travel Pack can be quite expensive if you consider that it is a one-time investment.
Requires 50x Metal Shards, 1x Fox Fur, 10x Fatty Meat. Since there is quite a bit of RNG involved in finding these items (especially fox fur), it could take a long time to grow them. With all of these items in your inventory, you will need to head over to Meridian and speak to a hunter item vendor to purchase the Golden Fast Travel Package.
Now that you know how to fast travel in Horizon Zero Dawn, you can choose the method that suits you and with that you can move more freely on the map. Luck!
