The appearance of Latios will be for a limited time of one week. It is scheduled to start on Monday, April 15 at Raid Battles, so it will leave the game by April 22.
In the same way as the previous one, you must team up with other players to be able to face Latios before you can catch him. Latias, like his brother Latios, are of the dual Dragon / Psychic type, being a weakness for them to face Ghost and Dark Pokemons, in addition to other dragons like Salamence and the legendary Giratina.
Other events:
Before the Latios event, the developer Niantic will perform a "Legendary Lunch Hour" on April 10, from 12 to 1 pm. In this there will be an increase in five-star Raids with Giratina in its Origin Forme, which has more attack-oriented statistics than its standard Altered Forme.
After the aforementioned time, Niantic will also celebrate the next Pokemon Go Community Day this Saturday, April 13. This event is scheduled from 3 to 6 pm and will have a greater number of reproductions of the rare Dragon Bagon Pokémon.
In addition to all this, Niantic also announced a variety of Pokemon Go Fest events for Chicago, Germany and Asia later this summer.
