Daybreak Game Company will be at the helm of the multiplayer battle royale video game, H1Z1 Battle Royale.


This after the previous developer NantG announced that the project was composed of many challenges that made its long-term success very complicated.


NantG declared through Steam saying: they had found themselves "feverishly working on changing the name of Z1 Battle Royale and returning the game to its glory days".

Just Survive was closed in August 2018, and the royal battle King of the Kill was later renamed H1Z1, then Z1 Battle Royale.


"In recent months, NantG Mobile has been working feverishly to change the name of Z1 Battle Royale and to make the game go back to its glory days."

NantG has also declared that Daybreak Games "has agreed to keep the servers for the players and continue with the live maintenance of the game."






H1Z1 Battle Royale dropped by new developer


John Smedley head of Daybreak, has acknowledged that recently have fired 70 people to make a reorganization, the announcement was on Twitter, but after that the tweets were removed.


"We are optimizing our structure to ensure we position ourselves better for continued success in the coming years",


"This effort has required us to make some changes within the organization and we are doing everything possible to support those affected at this difficult time.


"As we seek to improve efficiency and realign resources, we remain focused on supporting our existing games and developing our future titles."
