You can take three allies, plus your accessory and their accessories, into an operation in Freedom Wars Remastered. Unlike your Accessory, which you may level up independent of your Comrades' gear, you have no direct control over your Comrades' gear.
With customizing, you can have your item work effectively for you during battle and give it particular orders, as well. Listed below are all the methods for personalizing your accessory and ordering it.
How To Customize Your Accessory in Freedom Wars Remastered?
Just like your own gear, the gear of your accessory can be switched out in the Loadout menu. Just beneath the player is the Accessory option. Click on this, and it will pull up a loadout screen that looks very similar. Any weapon you own can be equipped to your accessory, and any modules that can be equipped to that weapon can similarly be equipped to your accessory.
Accessories do not need ammo when using gun weapons.
You can also set your accessory with one weapon for them to use when you want them to. You are only able to attach one type of weapon and one battle item on your accessory at one time, but unlike your comrades, you can give them special commands.
Orders for Accessories
You can adjust which order these come in for each set, by speaking with your Accessory in your cell, but you choose which set to have them equipped in the Loadout menu - "Customize Accessory" is the fifth option down. It allows you to pick and choose any of the above commands, so you can mix and match to create your own set. In the Window of Liberty Interface Entitlements, inside of the Accessory section, there are several Right To Assign Orders Entitlements. These may be used to expand the number of orders in a set. When engaging in an Operation you will not longer have the ability to edit what orders are on the list but will be able to choose which set to utilize within the Accessory's Loadout. Amongst the various orders available to you are:
- Hold on to me
- Prepare yourself
- Use Medical Equipment
- Prioritize Revival
- My Comrades,
- Escort Citizens
- Citizen Fall
- Becom a Citizen Follower
- Enemy Capture Control System
- Acquire the Control System in the Nearest Location
- Neutral Control System without Catching
- Scavenge for Materials
At any point in a mission, you can issue these commands by using up on the D-pad or C on a PC. If their orders are different, you can have your Comrades handle the larger objectives while your Accessory handles the smaller ones.
Maximizing Your Freedom Wars Remastered Accessory Orders

Carry Citizen
- This command tells your helper to run back and forth between safe spots while you and your friends fight the enemies.
Prioritize Revival
- In a tough battle, this command keeps your helper close to you and ready to help you if you get hurt.
Rescue Comrades
- Your friends can also get hurt, but their special abilities make them a bit more helpful in a fight than your helper.
Use Medical Supplies
- Give your helper some healing items so they can help keep everyone healthy and fighting.
Your helper can do some damage with a good weapon, but it's usually better to give them a powerful gun and have them help the team from a distance.
