Besides those restrictions on your running time, the travel from one point to another can often take a lot more than expected, sometimes even adding years to your sentence, which is just unfair. Thankfully, you can unlock fast travel while in the Panopticon; here's how.
Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Unlock Fast Travel?
It won't be available to you, however, until the very end of CODE level 2. You'll need to progress through the story to at least CODE level 3. Once you are there, access the Window of Liberty in your cell. Proceed to Interface Entitlements and go down to the "Misc." menu. You will find the Quick-Travel Permit available for the low price of 250 Entitlement Points.
Claim what's rightfully yours Earn points easily by completing operations or by liberally donating resources when you're in a bind.
How to use Quick-Travel in Freedom Wars Remastered
This Entitlement is activated instantly, and it will always be ON for you. Before you can active it, you'll have to request to be let out of your cell, since it's only available in the main part of the Panopticon. When you go out, open a map and look at the various places. Use the tabs on the top left to flip through the floors; scroll through the menu options on the left to select a location on that floor.
Clicking on it automatically takes you there-after a short loading screen-but safely and without chance of penalty. The main quest will have a yellow exclamation point on the map, which is handily next to the location on the left-hand side of the screen. It means you avoid missing the location first time, every time.
Sure, fast traveling gets you to where you need to go quickly, but for every cell block in your Panopticon, random resources will pop up on the main floor and will respawn every time you enter into an area. These won't be top-tier quality, but over time this can actually improve your overall resource gathering if you're always hopping from location to location.
