Where to Find O.X.R. Chests in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 has kicked off with a bug-themed season, introducing new ways to earn gear and powerful weapons. Players can engage in various activities, from fending off bugs at Outposts to hunting queens for Medallions. A key part of the new loot system is the O.X.R. Chest, a special loot cache that offers a chance to secure some of the season's new weapons, like the Leadspitter 3000 and the Swarmstrike.While these chests can appear randomly, they also have designated spawn points on the map. This guide will help you find all the guaranteed locations for O.X.R. Chests in Fortnite.

Guaranteed O.X.R. Chest Locations

For players looking to get a jump start on their loot right at the beginning of a match, there are several locations on the map that guarantee an O.X.R. Chest spawn. These spots are often small O.X.R. bases or specific landmarks.Here is a list of locations where you can find O.X.R. Chests at the start of a match:

• The O.X.R. Outpost located to the west of Supernova Academy.
• O.X.R. HQ.
• Swarmy Stash.
• The Burd To Go landmark, which is just north of Foxy Floodgate.
• The O.X.R. roadside base northwest of Pumpin' Pipes.
• The O.X.R. roadside base far northwest of Shiny Shafts.
• Ranger's Ruin.
• The small O.X.R. base far south of Outlaw Oasis.
• The O.X.R. Armory on the north side of Canyon Crossing.
• The O.X.R. Outpost north of Outpost Enclave.

Each of these locations has at least one O.X.R. Chest you can land at and open immediately.

O.X.R. Bunkers

Later in the match, another reliable way to get an O.X.R. Chest is by opening the O.X.R. Bunkers. These bunkers are locked at the beginning of the match and require you to reach O.X.R. Rank A to open them. Once you've achieved this rank by performing heroic deeds like eliminating bugs, capturing points, and slaying queens, the bunker locations will appear on your map.

There are four O.X.R. Bunkers on the island:

• On the south side of the mountain near the First Order Base.
• On the north side of the mountain above Shiny Shafts.
• At the base of the snowy hill west of Foxy Floodgate.
• On the hill far south of Utopia City.

Upon reaching O.X.R. Rank A, these bunkers will be marked on your map,allowing you to head to them for guaranteed high-tier loot, includingnew Exotic weapons.

Rewards for Opening O.X.R. Chests

Once you locate an O.X.R. Chest, simply interact with it to open it. Thesechests can yield a variety of valuable items, including powerful newweapons, healing items, and even Boons, which are a new type of in-gamepassive ability.

Additionally, opening O.X.R. Chests contributesto your progress for the "Search Rare Chests or O.X.R. Chests" weeklyquest. Opening 10 of these chests will reward you with 20,000 XP,helping you progress through your Battle Pass.
