How to Find Lobby Surge Fissures in Abyssus

In the aquatic roguelite Abyssus, players can delve into the depths to uncover not only new weapons and abilities but also a variety of cosmetic options. These include different suits, helmets, and color palettes that allow for a degree of player customization. One of the ways to expand your wardrobe is by finding and destroying the hidden Surge Fissures located throughout the game's hub area, the lobby base camp.Surge Fissures are small, glowing green orbs. While they may not seem like much, shattering all of them in a specific area grants a special reward. In the lobby, there are a total of eight of these hidden fissures, and this guide will show you where to find all of them to unlock a new suit color for your character.

Abyssus: Lobby Surge Fissure Locations

While some of the Surge Fissures are easy to spot, others arecleverly hidden or placed in hard-to-reach locations, requiring a bit of platforming skill to access. Get ready to explore every corner of yourbase camp.

First Surge Fissure: From the main starting area, head towards the Diving Bell and Soul Wheel. Look at the cliff wall directly beside the bell. The first fissure is located there, easily visible.

Second Surge Fissure: Continue along the same cliff wall from the first fissure. The secondone is located at the far end of the wall, past the diving bell.

Third Surge Fissure: Go back to the Soul Wheel. Look for an open doorway next to it and face upward. You will seeanother Surge Fissure tucked away on a platform near a wall entrance.

Fourth Surge Fissure: Head to the pier at the back of the camp. Follow the path on the farright side of the pier, then jump onto a small rock outcrop. Turn thecorner, and the fourth fissure will be hidden from view.

Fifth Surge Fissure: Return to the pier and look out into the water. Near the wreckage ofsome sunken ships, you'll see a large rock. Look closely, and the fifthfissure will be resting on it.

Secret Waterfall Entrance and Sixth Surge Fissure: After destroying the fifth fissure, turn your attention to the nearby waterfall. Follow the rock path that leads to it and jump through the cascadingwater. You will find a secret cave entrance that leads to a hidden room. The sixth fissure is tucked away in one of the corners of this room.

Seventh and Eighth Surge Fissures: The final two fissures require some careful platforming.

• Return to the path that leads to the secret waterfall entrance. Look foranother entrance that leads back to the room where you found the secondSurge Fissure.
• Once inside, hit the switch near the ledge to activate a jump pad below.
• Use the jump pad and the pillars and platforms along the edges of the room to make your way to a door high up on the wall.
• Go through the door and keep moving forward. After you drop down a small ledge, turn around to find the seventh fissure.
• The final fissure is in a small campsite above the main lobby area. Fromthe location of the seventh fissure, follow the path forward until yousee a cave opening across a gap, located above the tents of the maincamp.
• Use your double jump and dash to cross the gap.
• Follow the path up to the very top. The eighth and final Surge Fissure is located near the rock wall in this top-level campsite.

Reward for Finding All Fissures

Once you have found and shot all eight Surge Fissures in the lobby, you will automatically unlock the Tinker suit color scheme. This color is predominantly yellow and provides astriking new look for your character. You can change your suit'sappearance by interacting with the wardrobe located next to the weaponsbench in the main tent of the lobby.
