In Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic, Murray's Costume Manor holds more than just crazed animatronics; it's also packed with various collectible items, many of which unlock achievements and special story endings. Among these collectibles are Audio Logs, left behind by Erwin and Fiona. These provide crucial supplemental lore, piecing together the story of Edwin Murray, Fiona, and their son David. Collecting all of them also earns you the "Good Listener" trophy/achievement.There are a total of 22 Audio Logs to find. While some are easy to come across during the main story, others demand thorough exploration, specific clearance levels, or the completion of optional objectives.Warning: The following guide contains heavy spoilers regarding unlockable areas, characters, and all endings for FNAF: Secret of the Mimic. What Are Audio Logs in FNAF: Secret of the Mimic?

Audio Logs are a specific type of collectible in FNAF: Secret of the Mimic (not to be confused with Gift Box Collectibles or Text Logs). They are found by interacting with special tape cassette players scattered throughout the game. To "unlock" them, you simply need to press the "Play" button on the cassette player, and the audio log will begin to play. You can replay them as often as you like.

Here's where to find all 22 Audio Logs:

Audio Log 1 - Employee Office Near Big Top Showroom:
- In theemployee office directly to the right upon entering the atrium leadingto the Big Top Showroom. Requires 'Repair' level clearance. Go inside,up the stairs; the cassette player is on the wall immediately to yourleft.
Audio Log 2 - Office Above Storytime Showroom:
- Requiresaccessing the secret Storytime Playroom. Start by entering the doorbehind the Smack a Clown carnival game (knock out all teeth but one).Navigate obstacles to reach the showroom. Go to the narrow path behindthe stage, crawl to the elevator lift in the corner. This takes you tothe office overlooking the Storytime Showroom. The cassette player is on your right. (Also unlocks 'Goodnight, Sleep Tight' trophy/achievement).
Audio Log 3 - Second Floor of Area Before Roof Access:
- Found inthe two-floor safe area before you head outside through the Roof Accessdoor. There's a Clearance Upgrade Machine and Inventory Box here. Thecassette player is on the second floor, on the right side wall.
Audio Log 4 - Stage Control Room Above Theater:
- Enter theTheater via the main atrium. Look for a hidden passage along the rightside wall behind a pile of clutter. This leads to an open vent. Crawlthrough to a hallway where the Stage Control Room is. The cassetteplayer is on the counter inside.
Audio Log 5 - Assembly Office Inside Workshop:
- Inside the Workshop area, specifically in the office next to the assembly platform where you assemble the Springlock suit. The cassette player is on thecouch across from the HELPER computer.
Audio Log 6 - Office Near Entrance to Backstage Area:
- When youfirst enter the Backstage section in the Springlock suit, a small office is ahead of you to the right. The cassette player is on a table inside, next to the HELPER computer.
Audio Log 7 - Entrance to Loading Bay:
- Found upon entering the Loading Bay area, where you'll encounter a crane puzzle.The cassette player is on the wall straight ahead, near an Inventory Box and a whiteboard.
Audio Log 8 - Storage Room Above Loading Bay:
- Aftertraversing the crane puzzle in the Loading Bay and going up the stairsto the top, this audio log is in a sparse storage room directly to theright. Requires Admin access (which you should have by this point).
Audio Log 9 - Upper Floor of Warehouse:
- Beforeheading to the Admin Wing, locate the double doors labeled 'Warehouse'from the area above the Loading Bay. These lead to the upper catwalkoverlooking the Warehouse where you evaded Chica. Go all the way aroundthe catwalk and through the security door ahead (requires Adminclearance). The cassette player is on the wall at the far end of theroom.
Audio Log 10 - Break Room in Admin Wing (First Floor):
- On thefirst floor of the Admin Wing area, where Chica patrols in a minefieldof Cupcake animatronics. The Break Room is accessible from the left side of the maze-like room. Navigate to it and get through the security door (requires Admin clearance). The cassette player is on the kitchencounter in the corner, by the HELPER computer.
Audio Log 11 - Edwin Murray's Office:
- Foundinside Edwin Murray's office, located in the Admin Wing on the secondfloor. Accessible after upgrading your Data Diver with Executiveclearance (also on the second floor). The cassette player is on the lowbookshelf behind Edwin's desk under the window.
Audio Log 12 - Elevator Room Before Basement Level:
- Afterescaping Chica in Edwin's Office by going through the vent, you'll endup in a room with an elevator that leads to the Basement level. Beforeentering the elevator, the cassette player is on a knocked-over servertower near the elevator itself.
Audio Log 13 - Basement Level:
- Aftertaking the elevator down to the Basement level (after the AdminWing/Edwin's Office events), head into the open room. This cassetteplayer is on the wall on the left side, near an Inventory Box and HELPER computer. Important: Unlock this immediately beforeheading down into the sub-basement, as an animatronic boss awaits youthere, and you won't be able to backtrack from that point.
Audio Log 14 - Secret Room Inside Basement:
- This audio log is in a secret room deep within the basement maze, where you facethe White Tiger animatronic. This is likely one of the most dangerous to acquire.
Audio Log 15 - Returns Room in Main Hallway:
- Foundinside the Returns room at the far end of the Main Hallway. Go past theWarehouse main entrance; the door to the Returns room will be around the corner on your right. Requires Admin level clearance, so you may needto revisit this area later. Upon entering, the cassette player is on the wall on the left side.
Audio Log 16 - Storage Room on Second Floor of Main House (Glitched Clearance Required):
- Requiresunlocking the secret ending by gathering all Giftbox Collectibles,completing the Moon.EXE mini-game, and receiving Glitched Clearance forthe Data Diver. In the Main House (or Erwin's House), head upstairs tothe second floor and go to the door immediately on the right. You needGlitched clearance to enter. Inside, the cassette player is on a tableon the left side.
Audio Log 17 - Blueprint Room on Second Floor of Main House (Glitched Clearance Required):
- Requiresunlocking the secret ending by gathering all Giftbox Collectibles,completing the Moon.EXE mini-game, and receiving Glitched Clearance forthe Data Diver. While on the second floor of the Main House, go left and hack into the first door on the left. You need Glitched clearance toenter. Inside, where walls are covered in animatronic blueprints, thecassette player is on a table on the right side.
Audio Log 18 - Prototype Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria (Alternate Ending Required):
- To access, engage the alternate ending by running the Parachute.EXE program andgoing to the depths of the facility where a mock-up of Freddy Fazbear'sPizza is found. After selecting 'Turn On Stage Lights' on the HELPERcomputer in the center of the pizzeria room, a room to the right of thestage will open. Inside, along with the Freddy Fazbear suit, there's anExecutive-tier security door. Open it, and the cassette player will behanging on the wall inside.
Audio Log 19 - Bathroom Next to Prototype Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria (Alternate Ending Required):
- To access, engage the alternate ending by running the Parachute.EXE program. After escaping out of the main pizzeria room to the bathroom area, you'llfind this cassette player hanging on a wall.
Audio Log 20 - Passage to Main House from Prototype Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria (Alternate Ending Required):
- To access, engage the alternate ending by running the Parachute.EXE program. After escaping the main pizzeria room and meeting F10-N4, she'll send you tothe main house. On the way to the train cart that takes you there, thiscassette player is sitting on a table next to the tracks.
Audio Log 21 - Desk on First Floor in Main House (Alternate Ending Required):
- To access, engage the alternate ending by running the Parachute.EXE program andentering the Main House via F10-N4. This Audio Log is on a desk in theroom directly to the left from where you enter the Main House. Becareful of the Mimic actively patrolling the area.
Audio Log 22 - Destroyed Attic in Main House (Alternate Ending Required):
- Toaccess, engage the alternate ending by running the Parachute.EXEprogram. This audio log is in the partially destroyed attic area of theMain House, after you get past the door on the second floor via thekeypad code obtained from the Film Reels (the code is randomized). Thecassette player is on the wall near the table with the HELPER computer(where you activate Cradle.EXE). This is the final audio log found inthis particular ending.
