How to Solve Retail Showroom Basement Puzzle in FNAF Secret of the Mimic

The facility in Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic offers a relatively short but intense journey, filled with hidden areas that unlock secret encounters and items. One such area is found within the basement of the facility, accessible via a lift in the Retail Showroom.However, this area isn't available from the start. You'll need Executive permission from the Data Diver to gain entry. Prepare yourself thoroughly before venturing down, as you'll face a puzzle to solve while a secret Moon animatronic stalks the dark, maze-like halls.

How to Get the Keypad Code for Retail Showroom in FNAF: Secret of the Mimic

Before you can even step into the Retail Showroom, you must have Executive Data Diver access. Once you've obtained this access and successfully completed the boss fight against the White Tiger, there's a crucial step to avoid: do NOT enter the main office in Storage to speak with the Dispatcher. Entering that office will lock you into the game's ending, preventing any further exploration of the facility.Instead, after the White Tiger boss fight, exit the storage area and cut through the welcome showroom to reach the main hallway. The door to the Retail Showroom is located to the left of the keypad you previously used to get the elevator repair training cassette.Once inside the Retail Showroom:

Unlock Main Office: Quickly unlock the main office door to your left.

Access Helper Terminal: Go inside and access the Helper Terminal.

Read Emails: Read the emails titled "Retail," followed by each day of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). These emails contain hints about the locations of monitors displaying the code digits. You'll need to enter these digits into the Retail Showroom keypad in the correct order.

Here's a breakdown of the code locations and digits:

Once you've correctly entered the code 80625 into the Retail Showroom keypad, an elevator will open, granting you access to the basement section.

How to Solve the Retail Showroom Basement Puzzle & Beat the Moon Boss

Upon reaching the basement:

Grab Star Orphan Light: Immediately grab the Star Orphan light.

Navigate the Maze: Head inside one of the connecting hallways. These hallways form a maze-like structure, and you'll be constantly pursued by the Moon animatronic boss. To survive, avoid hitting any chains (as they create noise) and utilize lockers to hide from Moon when needed.

Restore Power & Find Circuit Tiles: Your primary objective is to follow one of the four red wires on the ground to a specific station. At this station, you can dock the Star Orphan to restore power to that area. Once power is restored, follow the other end of that same red wire. This will lead you to an unlocked cage containing a piece of circuit tile.

• Crucial Tip: Remember to grab the Star Orphan back once you're done with an area before moving to the next.
• Distract Moon: Use the Jackhammers found in the environment to create noise and distract the Moonanimatronic. This will make it much easier to find the circuit piecewhen Moon is off your tail.

Assemble the Circuit: Once you have a piece of the circuit, return to the main area with thelarge moon structure in the middle of the room. Place the circuit pieceinto the larger circuit located behind it. You'll need to find four circuit tiles in total by repeating the steps above (following each red wire).

Complete the Puzzle: After placing all four circuit tiles into the larger circuit, you must connect the tiles to form a continuous pathway for the molten liquid to flow from right to left.

Claim Reward: Completing the circuit will allow you to enter the large moon structure in the center of the room. Inside, you'll find David's Ball gift box memorabilia. Collecting all giftbox memorabilia is essential to complete the Moon.exe mini-game and unlock the secret ending for FNAF: Secret of the Mimic.
