How To Get the B.Shot Bowtie in Deltarune

In Deltarune, armor plays a crucial role in every battle, making a good selection of defensive gear essential for success. Among these, the B.Shot Bowtie stands out not only as a solid armor piece but also as a component for crafting an even better item.

What Does the B.Shot Bowtie Do in Deltarune?

The B.Shot Bowtie is an armor item that can be equipped by any party member. Its primary function is to enhance the wearer's defensive capabilities:

• Defense: Increases the equipping character's Defense by 2.
• Magic: Increases the equipping character's Magic stat by 1.
  • Since Kris is unable to use magic, this armor is generally best equipped on Susie or Ralsei to make full use of its magical boost.

Beyond its direct stat increases, the B.Shot Bowtie has a unique secondary use. You can combine it with a Tension Bit (a TP restoring item) to craft the Tension Bow at Malius's shop (Top Bakery). The Tension Bow is also an armor piece that:

• Increases a character’s Defense by 2.
• Increases TP gain from grazing by 10%, making it easier to build Tension during combat by narrowly avoiding enemy attacks.
  

Note on Confusion: It's important to distinguish the B.Shot Bowtie from an item sold at Spamton's shop, also deceptively named "BSHOT BOWTIE." Upon purchase, Spamton's item is revealed to be the Frayed Bowtie, which is a different item with different properties.

How To Obtain the B.Shot Bowtie in Deltarune

The B.Shot Bowtie can be purchased from Swatch for 300 D$ (Dark Dollars), which is a reasonable price. Swatch's location changes based on your progression in the game:

During the game (before sealing the Cyber World's dark fountain): Swatch can be found in his store, the Color Cafe, which is located at the entrance to Queen’s Mansion in the Cyber World.

After sealing the Cyber World's dark fountain: Once you have completed this major objective, Swatch will relocate. He will then be found running the café in Castle Town, which is where spared Darkners can reside.
