You will want to reforge your armor with heat-heavy materials before this boss fight in order to have maximum heat resistance. It only deals heat-type damage.

Particular Areas of the Ark of the Living Fuse
Like Ark of the Stricken Earth, Living Flame features unique spots all over its body, however unlike Ark, these spots won't show you where the boss is weak. True, the player can already see the Living Flame's weak points and inflict damage to them without regard to the designated areas. Of all the drops in the prescribed places in Ark of the Living Flame, the following valuable drops were there: Cinder-Infused Linen-5 stars and Refined Serenite-4 stars.
In all, there are five different places in which a Living Flame can be placed: two on each wrist, two behind each knee, and one on each breast. With a bow, you can easily reach the chest one but with a sword, you can easily take down the rest. Note that on some of these specific places, a red muscle will pop up once you take the shell off; you will have to kill that as well in order to release the valuable material.
How To Get Ember's Servant Strand in Eternal Strands?
Finding Ember's Servant Strand Once you have collected the material drops, you can attack the weak spots of Living Flame, which include its abdomen, upper arms, and lower legs. The immune system will take more time to build up in the tender muscles of Living Flame. The player is able to shoot half of its health targeting its belly before it gets immune. Generally, though, the legs are friendly for a sword.
Before Stricken Earth, however, Living Flame would attempt to grab you by the hand and throw you away. So quickly fly underneath him and run away as soon as you see that his hand is going to get to you. You can get the Ember's Servant Strand at the Ark of the Living Flame after defeating him. This strand, when brought to Dahm at the camp, will give Brynn a new ability in summoning a companion-a new skill in Fire.
