This Grand Theft Auto Online event revolves around the Yuanbao Collectible, which will have players scouring high and low across Los Santos for golden Yuanbao. There are 36 of these Chinese golden sycees laying around the map just waiting to be found. For collectors, this event is highly recommended since players will be rewarded with rare gifts for collecting all of the Yuanbao.

A jingle will indicate that a Yuanbao collectible is near. If the thing is tricky to locate, you should attempt to backtrack from where the noise it made. Getting near treasures will also have your controller rumble. You'll know you're getting in its proximity since its vibration intensity goes up the closer you get.
Airport in Los Santos
The first Yuanbao is located near the airport. Reach the marked spot on the map, and you should see the collectible atop a crane controller near the runway.
2. The Isle of Elysium
The second Yuanbao is near the Elysian Islands, where you need to move towards the dock and then jump onto the boat. You can see the sycee sitting on the railing at the bow of the boat.
3. (Chupacabra Street) on Elysian Island
This one's a real pain to find. Head to the location and jump aboard the moored ship. There are three ways in: via the stairs, a ladder, and over a wall near a searchlight; all three are accessible from the back of the ship. The Yuanbao is near the searchlight on the ship.
4. Los Santos International Airport
The last one is located in the area surrounding Los Santos International Airport. Yuanbao can be found in a car junkyard. To find the Yuanbao, look for a pile of abandoned cars and concrete rings.
5. Endpoint
This Yuanbao is placed at the head of a cargo ship parked in the Terminal area. After going aboard, head to the front of the ship, also called the bow. The collection is there.

This Yuanbao is located close to a large tanker, placed at the marked location in El Burro Heights.

Another one tucked away in an unfinished building in El Burro Heights is the next one. To locate the Yuanbao, get to the designated spot and keep an eye out for the partially built beams.
8. Cypress Flats
On top of the LS Car Meet Building lies this Yuanbao. Use the building's side steps to get there, and then use the ladder to ascend a ventilation fan.
9. Grassman
This Yuanbao is hidden on the rooftop of a store in the Davis neighborhood. You need to climb the ladder at the back of the store and head towards the edge of the roof.

The next one is on top of a building housing a Chamberlain Hills market. There you will see a ladder on top of the building that goes to the rooftop, and the Yuanbao is on that rooftop.
11. Pillbox Hill
A Yuanbao is sitting on the top floor of a skyscraper in Pillbox Hill that's currently under construction. The only ways to reach it in a hurry are by vehicle or helicopter. If you don't feel like taking either one of those options, then the collectible is yours if you can climb an endless ladder.

In Pillbox Hill, another Yuanbao is available near the entrance gate to the Union Depository.

This Yuanbao rests on a building in La Mesa. To ascend and retrieve it, utilize the ladders attached to the side of the building.
14–The Vespucci Canals (Avenue in Bay City)
Speaking of the nightclub rooftop, that is where the action of finding the next Yuanbao is taking place. For this, go up by scaling the ventilators on the back wall of the building.
15. The Hills of Rockford
You will also find another Yuanbao on a public bench in the Eugenics Inc. building area in Rockford Hills.
16. The Golfing Society and GWC
The Golfing Society and GWC hide the next Yuanbao. Once you have been granted access to the golf course you will be allowed to see the collectible between two small ponds atop of a landmark.

This Yuanbao is in a drawer in a house entrance on the Inseno Road in Banham Canyon.
20. Glen Richman
Near Richman Glen, this Yuanbao lies within the perimeter of the house. You have to jump over the wall to reach the item, which is near it.
21. Vinewood Estates
The second Yuanbao is on the other side of a villa in Vinewood Hills. The object will be sitting on top of a radio table, which is accessible near the pool area.

Perched on the ornate archway that leads up to the world-famous Oriental Theatre. Nothing less than a flying vehicle will get you to this spot. Another more challenging option, if you dare, is trying to find a nearby building you can scale so you have high enough jump off point to sail through the air and land onto its roof.

Up on the rooftop of the world-renown Diamond Casino and Spa Resort is where you'll find the next Yuanbao. You can reach the terrace using the elevator inside the casino.

Next to Vinewood Racetrack Casino, between the seating, one Yuanbao is sitting. After entering the racetrack, move towards the stand that would be on the right side. Follow the jingle and vibration to locate the Yuanbao.

This treasure can be found at the marked location off Mirror Park.
27. Harmony
There is one Yuanbao in Harmony, but it's located in a backroom of the 24/7 Supermarket. You may want to enter the staff only area with some caution; the owner might just call the cops on you, and he might even attack you.
28. Fort Zancudo Entrance to
Inside Fort Zancudo Military Base, you'll find a Yuanbao sitting on top of a barrel. Note that if you're armed, the guard will start firing at you as you get closer to the gate.
29. North Chumash Beach
Head to North Chumash Beach for the next one. You'll find this Yuanbao in a touristic campground, sitting on a table.
30. Dessert State Wilderness Chiliad Mountain
On a small hilltop in the Chilliad Mountains, a Yuanbao is sitting near a power pole.
31. Pineto Bay
From the map, you can observe a small shop near the Paleto Bay wherein, one Yuanbao is sitting on a bench.
32. Bay of Paleto
Near the Paleto Bay, you can see another Yuanbao on a truck beside a vehicle repair shop.
33. Gros Morne
This is a picture of Yuanbao, which is hidden near the railway rails on Mount Gordo.
34: Grapeseed
The Yuanbao can be found in the Alamo Fruit Market area in Grapeseed.
35. Seaside Alamo
The Yuanbao sits atop a wooden pier extending into the Alamo Sea.
36: Sandy Shores
The final Yuanbao is located on the roof of a house in the Sandy Shores neighborhood. It's quite easy to reach by climbing the walls up onto the roof.
When the GTA Online Yuanbao Collectibles Event Ends and How to Earn Rewards
For every Yuanbao you collect, you'll receive $888 or 888 RP; thus, collecting all 36 collectibles could yield $31,968 or 31,968 RP. Once you've collected all of them, you'll receive an additional $88,888 for completing the challenge. Your overall reward will be $119,968.
