How to Start the Water Fat Mission in Dune: Awakening

To begin Water Fat, players must:

Speak to Elara Tuek in Harko Village to receive the assassination contract.

Accept the mission, where she provides a poison injector to sabotage the Water Shipper’s supply.

Prepare your loadout:

• Cutteray (for breaking barriers)
• JABAAL Spitdart Sniper (or better) with Heavy Darts
• Suspensor Belt (e.g., Emperor Wings for mobility)
• Movement Skill (Bindu Sprint or Shigawire Claw recommended)

Once ready, open the world map (M) and locate the Water Shipper’s Manor near Arrakeen. Fly there via Ornithopter and land at the marked location to trigger the mission.

The Water Shipper’s Manor is a high-security fortress patrolled by snipers, guards, and deadly reflector spotlights. If spotted, you’ll be paralyzed and reset to the last checkpoint, so stealth is crucial.

Step 1: Breach the Outer Walls

• From the starting point, move right toward a scaffolding structure.
• Use Bindu Sprint or Shigawire Claw to dash past the first reflector spotlight.
• Climb the stairs to reach the first checkpoint atop the wall.

Step 2: Find Elara’s Contact (Yargun)

• Yargun stands on an exposed platform between two moving reflectors.
• Eliminate the two patrolling guards with your sniper before approaching.
• If detected, a 30-second alert begins—hide or kill all enemies to reset it.

Yargun offers two infiltration routes:

Direct Assault (Dangerous) – Fight through guards and spotlights.

Underground Passage (Recommended) – A stealthier path through caves.

Step 1: Navigate the Poppy Fields

• Head left from Yargun, avoiding reflectors.
• Snipe guards silently to prevent alarms.
• Reach a tunnel intersection—wait for two reflectors to pass, then kill the cave guard and enter.

• Use a Cutteray to open the blast door.
  • No Cutteray? Craft one from scrap metal nearby.
• Inside, avoid toxic gas mines and proceed to a fork in the tunnel.
• Take the left path to a dead end.

Step 3: Break the Weak Wall

• Scan the dead-end wall with your Cutteray.
• Cut along the structural weakness to collapse it.
• Watch for quicksand—stick to the rocks along the walls.

Poison the Water Supply & Escape

Step 1: Infiltrate the Final Compound

• After exiting the cave, enter a new stealth zone with more reflectors and guards.
• Stick to the right, silently eliminating threats.
• Dash past two reflectors into the next building.
