Each line of this riddle distinctly relates to one of the four seasons; in the very end, there is a mention of some mysterious phrase to create a surprise. Actually, in order to solve the puzzle, it was necessary for the players to perform some certain action over each of these four totems.
Activating the Winter Totem in Divinity: Original Sin 2
To trigger the winter totem, one needs only freeze the surface-using spells like Hail Strike and Ice Fan. Of course, one can also make frozen surfaces using freezing arrows.
Frozen surfaces can also be made by combining two hydrosophist spells, such as Rain and Global Cooling, where the former will create water on the ground while the latter freezes it.

To activate the autumn totem, you must create electrified clouds. To activate the totem of autumn, Rangers should shoot an arrow of Static Cloud and send an arrow of shocking to produce steam electrified.
Summer Totem Usage in Divinity: Original Sin 2
Like the winter and autumn totems, using the summer totem requires generating fire clouds. Given how much work it takes to generate fire clouds in Divinity: Original Sin 2, a character is unlikely to ever encounter one in normal combat.
Fire clouds form when the surface of a fire is condensed through the use of Aerotheurge spells such as Vaporize. Large fire spells, such as Laser Eyes, can also create fire clouds on their own. Fire Slugs can cast Laser Eyes and a Laser Eyes scroll or spellbook should be easy enough to find.
You'll want to make a quick save before trying to activate the final totem because there's some hard fighting before you get to do so.
How to Activate Spring Totem in Divinity: Original Sin 2
The Spring totem is the easiest of the four to activate, and there are several ways you can manage it. The most straightforward involves having a necromancer use his or her Rain Blood spell to activate the totem.
If you don't have a necromancer in your party, you can activate the totem by hitting one of your living companions until they bleed. The Elven character can eat a part of the body or perform the Flesh Sacrifice action near the totem in order to make it active.
In order to face each of the four bosses, one from each totem, you'll have to activate the final totem. Below level 14, it will be really tough to overcome such challenges.
