How to Barter with Another Porter in Death Stranding 2

In the world of Death Stranding 2, Porters are pivotal figures. While preppers maintain the Chiral Network from their isolated bunkers, it's the Porters traversing Australia who are the true heroes, delivering vital cargo. Sam can interact with these roaming Porters through various actions like giving likes, waving, or even snarky comments. Crucially, he can also trade with them.Trading with other Porters not only provides an excellent opportunity to acquire useful gear but also offers a relatively easy way to earn the "Porters Make the World Go Round" trophy in Death Stranding 2. Here’s how to achieve it.

How to Get the "Porters Make the World Go Round" Trophy

You'll start encountering NPC Porters roaming across Australia and Mexico after you successfully complete Order No. 12. While their exact locations are somewhat random, you can typically find them quite easily heading towards, or in close proximity to, major cities and settlements like West Fort Knot. They also frequently travel along pathways connected by roads and monorails.To efficiently locate Porters, you should:

Tap L1 to scan the area.

Look for moving cargo: Porters will always travel in groups of two, making them easier to spot as your scanner will detect their cargo.

Once you have successfully located a Porter, you can initiate a barter by simply approaching them.

The Porter will respond by releasing an item they are carrying and holding it out, offering it to Sam.

Sam should pick up the item, regardless of what it is.

After Sam has taken the Porter's item, you will then need to trade one of your own items in return.

This is easily achieved by entering Cargo Management (by clicking the Options button), and then dropping a random item – such as a Blood Grenade or Container Repair Spray – directly in front of the Porter.

The Porter will then pick up your offered item, concluding the trade. This action will immediately trigger the "Porters Make the World Go Round" trophy to pop.
