Clair Obscur Expedition 33: How to defeat the Tisseur

Where to Find Tisseur:

Tisseur resides in Sirene, a location tied to the main storyline. You won't be able to miss this boss; the massive weaver is positioned directly on the main path that leads through the area, specifically by the Sewing Atelier flag. While you can choose to ignore Tisseur, doing so will significantly increase the difficulty of the subsequent fight against Sirene, the main boss of the location. Therefore, it's highly recommended that you defeat Tisseur before proceeding.

Tisseur's Attacks:

Tisseur's attacks are as follows:

• Curse: Tisseur casts a curse that affects your entire team. This attack isunavoidable. The cursed character will automatically die after eightturns, forcing you to defeat Tisseur quickly.
• Combo: Tisseur performs a sequence of five area-of-effect blows. To avoidthese, quickly dodge twice or parry after the boss leans his steel fistbehind his back, then jump over the next two blows, and parry the nailthat the boss throws at you.
• Swiping Combo: Tisseur executes four area strikes. Jump over the first three blows.These attacks are rapid, so jump as soon as you see the jump symbol.Prepare to parry or dodge the final blow when the boss pulls all hisarms back.
• Weaving Glissando: Tisseur weaves some Glissandos and throws them at the team. Parry immediately after the huge worm rears back.
• Clapping: Tisseur attempts to crush your team by clapping his hands. Be ready toparry right after the boss starts holding a nail horizontally in frontof you.

How to Defeat Tisseur:

Tisseur has weaknesses and resistances you'll want to exploit:

• Weak to: Fire and Light
• Resistant to: Ice and Dark

The fight against Tisseur is primarily a race against time, dictated by the turn limit imposed by the curse. Therefore, your primary objective isto defeat it as quickly as possible.

• Utilize Fire and Light: Maelle and Lune are particularly effective in this fight due to theirfire-related skills, which will inflict significant damage on Tisseureach turn.
• Leverage Your Full Party: Remember that you have a "spare" party at your disposal. Even if yourinitial party falls, the remaining members of your expedition cancontinue the fight.
• Equip Elemental Weapons and Luminas: It's recommended to equip weapons with Fire or Light elementalproperties to exploit Tisseur's weaknesses. Additionally, equip Luminasthat enhance jump counterattacks. Given Tisseur's frequent use ofattacks that require jumping, these counterattacks will deal significant damage, especially when combined with the boss's elementalvulnerabilities.
