How to sign up for Battlefield Labs

Battlefield Labs is an innovative community development initiative from EA and the collective Battlefield Studios teams, designed to allow players to directly influence the future of the Battlefield series. By participating in playtests and providing feedback on fresh, in-development concepts, players can help shape the content that will be expanded or removed before the game's official release.Recently, there has been a significant surge of interest in Battlefield Labs due to its connection with the early access period of the Battlefield 6 open beta. While the deadline of July 31 to automatically secure early access has passed, it's still worthwhile to sign up for Battlefield Labs to be eligible for future playtests and potential rewards.Here is a guide on how to sign up for Battlefield Labs and what you can expect.

Battlefield Labs: How to sign up

The sign-up process is straightforward and is done through an official EA portal.

Follow the Sign-Up Link: Go to the official Battlefield Labs sign-up page.

Log In to Your EA Account: You will be prompted to log in with your EA account details. Ensure your EA account is up to date and linked to your preferred gaming platform (PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S).

Complete Registration: Once logged in, you will be taken to the next stage of the registration process. While a virtual queue system was initially in place due to high demand, the rush has since subsided, and you should be able to proceed with registration immediately.

What to Expect After Signing Up

It is important to note that simply registering for Battlefield Labs does not guarantee you an invitation. EA has stated that initial invites are limited, with servers currentlylocated in Europe and North America. Over time, they plan to expand theprogram to tens of thousands of participants and support additionalterritories.

If you are selected to participate, you will receivean email from playtesting@ea.com with further details, including a linkto the official Battlefield Discord for more information. Participantsare required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to prevent themfrom sharing details of the in-development content.

BattlefieldLabs participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback on allelements of gameplay, starting with core combat and destruction andlater moving on to vehicles, weapons, maps, game modes, and even theclass system. This is a unique opportunity to provide direct input tothe developers and help shape the future of the Battlefield franchise.
