You have to go to the Underdark in order to retrieve this quirky artifact. The big cave system and the ruins are the scene of Act Two. Also, if you are unprepared, it is one of the most dangerous areas in the game. The quest given goes as follows:

- Go to the Colony of the Mind Flayers
- Kill the Mind Flayers and examine their bodies.
- The Necrotic Laboratory and its environs.
Finding the Resonance Stone in Baldur's Gate 3 is completely up in the air since it is a random item. Adding to that is the Mind Flayers' intrinsic powers. Be careful and ready to reload a save when things go wrong; these enemies are deadly and will not let you be bumping them off and looting away .
BG3 Resonance Stone: How to?
To activate the Resonance Stone in Baldur's Gate 3, all you have to do is equip it. This artifact is going to cast an area-of-effect buff named Steeped in Bliss, to be applied to all creatures around it within a 9-meter radius. Steeped in Bliss is such a strange boost because it gives a boost to physical checks like constitution, dexterity, and strength, yet it suffers when it comes to intelligence, wisdom, and charisma mentally in saving throws.
Afflicted characters also take psychic damage in this case. Steeped in Bliss can raise the power of more powerful Psionic users, so one should be really careful fighting against them. Use abilities of Resonance Stone only in a case when you are ready to cope with all possible hazards of being stunningly killed by Steeped in Bliss. The effect of Resonance Stone's benefit or its debuff-when it would be activated-will last one hour.
