In the sprawling world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the quest The Butterfly Collector offers players a unique and engaging challenge. This quest not only tests your observation skills but also immerses you in the rich cultural tapestry of feudal Japan. By following this guide, you’ll be able to locate all 10 origami butterflies hidden around Osaka, uncover the secrets they hold, and ultimately solve the mystery of the kidnapped child.
Starting the Quest
To begin The Butterfly Collector, head to the village east of Katano Castle. Here, you’ll encounter a woman standing next to an Ornament Vendor. Speak to her, and she’ll explain that she’s set up a game for the local children involving colorful origami butterflies. However, the children weren’t particularly interested, so she challenges you to take on the task instead. Your mission is to find 10 origami butterflies scattered around Osaka, specifically in the southwestern Settsu region. These butterflies are hidden on trees, and you’ll know you’re close to one when you see a cluster of butterflies flapping in the air. Additionally, you can use Naoe’s Observe skill to make the search easier.
