  • A primary method for unlocking cats and dogs is through interaction. Whenever Naoe or Yasuke pets a cat or dog of a breed they haven’t encountered, that breed is added to the Hideout’s available animal roster. This encourages exploration and interaction with the game's environment.
  • The pre-order DLC quest, "Thrown to the Dogs," provides a specific opportunity to unlock a unique pup, adding a narrative layer to your animal collection.
• Yasuke's Artistic Documentation:
  • Yasuke possesses the unique ability to unlock small animals by painting them. This includes creatures like rabbits, fox kits, tanukis, and monkeys, offering a diverse selection of wildlife to populate your Hideout. Enter the Hiroma:

• Navigate to the Hiroma, the central hub for Hideout customization.

Access Build Mode:

• Approach the bench designated for Hideout improvements and enter the customization menu.
• Switch to build mode to arrange the Hideout’s layout.

Select the Animal Tab:

• Tabover to the wolf icon located on the far right. This section displaysall unlocked animal types, categorized into dogs, cats, and “other”animals.

Choose Your Companion:

• Select the desired animal from the list. This will transition the view to an overhead perspective of the Hideout.

Placement and Arrangement:

• Use the overhead view to select an open grid space within the Hideout and place the animal.
• Remember that animals roam freely once placed, so their location may vary.
