- We open Steam, navigate to our game library and access the ARK: Survival Ascended page.
- Then, we click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Manage".
- Next, we click "Browse Local Files" and open the ShooterGame-Saved-Config-Windows folder.
- Inside this folder, we open GameUserSettings.
- We proceed to scroll down to [Server Settings]. If the DifficultyOffset value is set to a value other than 1, change it to read "DifficultyOffset=1".
- Next, we press Enter on the keyboard to create a new line and insert “OverrideOfficialDifficulty=10”.
Note: The number specified after "OverrideOfficialDifficulty=" determines the maximum dinosaur level, but there is one critical detail to consider. We must multiply the given number by 30. Therefore, "OverrideOfficialDifficulty=10" will result in a maximum dinosaur level of 300, while "OverrideOfficialDifficulty=15" will raise it to 450.
The code to be inserted into the GameUserSettings file in [ServerSettings] should look like this:
- Difficulty compensation=1
- Override official difficulty = 10
Finally, we start ARK: Survival Ascended, and we will go to the Game Rules and World tab. We need to make sure that the maximum difficulty is set to "Off". Otherwise, the maximum dinosaur level will remain at 150, regardless of any changes made. With these methods, we can easily increase the maximum dinosaur level in ARK: Survival Ascended. We will access a more challenging game, a gaming experience without being limited to a maximum of 150 dinosaur levels.
It should be remembered that the ancient dinosaurs of the past will not be able to reach higher levels. Therefore, we must eliminate all members of the current generation to pave the way for younger, more formidable creatures. This can be achieved by accessing the game's command line by pressing ~ and entering "DestroyWildDinos" to eradicate all untamed dinosaurs.
