How to tame the Pyromane in Ark Survival Ascended

The Center and the Pyromane are the new members of Ark Survival Ascended. Although many will have trouble taming them, they are extremely useful and powerful. Please note that to access these features, you must have the Fantastic Tames – Pyromane DLC. Pyromaniacs will continue to appear on all Ark Survival Ascended maps, although you will not be able to tame them.

Where to find the Pyromane in Ark Survival Ascended?

Two of the game's three maps contain arsonists. I have only seen pyromans in the following areas. I can't find them anywhere else.
In what is often known as World Scar, where Wyverns appear, you will find Pyromanes on the Scorched Earth map. This giant ravine is located on the west side of the map. You will find them very difficult because they will be hanging around in the background.
On the northern volcanic island, arsonists are everywhere on the Hub map. They will appear on all islands, but most are found near the coast.
I can't find pyromaniacs near the lava, or even on the volcano, so they don't seem to appear on the map of The Island. Therefore, it's safe to say that the island has no pyromaniacs.

How to tame the Pyromane in Ark Survival Ascended?

Taming arsonists is fun, but also a little exhausting. The power of pyromaniacs makes them great mounts. First, you'll have to face that fiery fury to tame them.

You'll need good armor to survive the Pyromanes' blows. The least you will want to use during the taming process is the Primitive Flak range. Although you'll prefer a powerful weapon, such as a shotgun, to make work easier on the creature's own armor, you can use any weapon you see fit.

Get their attention to tame the Pyromane. Due to their excellent senses, they will be able to detect you from a considerable distance. When they chase you, run towards the nearest body of water. The Pyromane will happily chase you until you spray it.

Considering there is no water in World Scar, the only realistic option for Scorched Earth is to get the Pyromane out of the ravine by using a Wyvern to pick it up.

It will allow you to ride the Pyromane if you are soaked, but you will have to attack it first until the travel message appears. You must be prepared when assembling the Pyromane.

While in the Pyromane, you have 30 seconds to defeat a creature. At that moment, you will absorb its... Is it fire? Is it souls? What is essence? Whatever it is, it will make the Pyromane happy and fill a new meter on your hot bar.

It will be your responsibility to fill that meter by eliminating creatures. The 30 second timer will also reset with each creature killed. If you don't kill enough animals before the timer expires, the Pyromane will rip you off and you'll have to wait five minutes before you can ride it again. The Pyromane will be tamed upon completion of the task.

How to raise a pyroman in Ark Survival Ascended?

Raising pyromaniacs should be no different from raising any other creature. However, if you are having problems, it is likely because Pyromane's playback is currently buggy.

According to Studio Wildcard, they are working on a major patch for the Hub that includes fixing Pyromane playback. However, when this patch will be rolled out is another question entirely.

Therefore, stop playing the Pyromane until the patch comes out.
