A few things to consider when feeding the animals in each of the cages within Zoochosis. The tutorial will give you a very quick rundown of it, but after that, it's all up to you to figure out for yourself. But don't you worry, we have laid out a simple tutorial that will show you how you can produce food and all of the recipes for animals in Zoochosis.
As you can see above, the Food Bricks that - as the Doc explains in the Tutorial - are used in the game to create food are found in the Cold Room region of the Hub. Put the Brick Trolley onto the train-if it's not on already-and push it forward down the track until it opens doors to the freezer; these doors provide access to the Cold Room. Food Bricks are kept therein, stored in labeled loading bins, one each for the following categories:
Note there is only a specific number available of each type of food in the whole game. You begin the game with 20 KG of each type of food (other than meat) in stock, as indicated by the numbers over the loading bins on the wall. If one of the bins is getting low on bricks, you can restock the bin by pulling the level on the next wall; the quantity will fall, though, as you restock. So, use it sparingly.
Once you have gotten all of the food bricks you need to feed what your new animals like in advance of even entering their cage, place all of them onto the trolley and take it back down to the train. To load the Brick Trolley, pull it level with the side of the train before boarding the train itself. To save yourself a heap of time and potential mistakes, it is strongly recommended that you create your meal before heading into the enclosure.
At the At the Kitchen-Factory train station, as illustrated above, all supplies are ready, and the stock you load onto the Brick Trolley is what you will have available.
First things first, approach the computer above the counter. At left, a listing of all the species of zoo animals; on the right side are ingredient listings to make up their food. As you can see, right-hand side of the chart, the 'Deviation' column, gives the maximum over or undercut of food that is allowed:. The food might turn out to be harmful to the animals if the departure % from the recipe is beyond that allowed.
In the middle of the screen, it shows the recipe of the food you have chosen to prepare for the animal. Click "Cook" when you are ready to cut bricks and choose the type you prefer. After clicking "Cut," the brick will fall on the counter and a red laser shows you exactly where to cut. Be careful: Put the piece of brick that you will use as food on the right side of the cutting blade. What you see on the left is what you are left with.
The computer will display the amount of that brick which it needs below that, along with the total weight of the brick. Make an informed estimate as to what precisely is required and then hack to add to the mix. Following that, your % variance will be noted. If you can achieve 0.00% deviation after hacking, you can get the 'Food Ninja' achievement.
This will automatically feed all animals in the enclosure, so there is no need to do this for individual animals. You can just make one batch of food for the whole enclosure. You may proceed with the collection of samples and readings once you have fed them.

What to Feed Zoochosis Mutant Animals?
Once you have progressed far enough in the game, the other tab of the computer in the Kitchen-Factory station will grant you access to the recipes for the other mutant animal types. In addition, the floppy disk recordings by Anthony Hapwood reflect that they all require meat, too, which you will see.
The meat in these recipes only serves to tranquilize-cum-distract the mutant animals, while you opt to either cure them or relieve them of their misery.
Recipes for Different Animal Feeds in Zoochosis
Below is a list of all animal food currently available recipes in Zoochosis, complete with ingredients to make them. These recipes are also posted on the walls of the Cold Room in the Hub. Your PDA doesn't store the recipes themselves, but does keep track of the posters.
Animal Diet Recommendations
Here's a suggested breakdown of daily dietary needs for several animals. Please note that these are general guidelines and may vary based on individual health, age, activity levels, and specific species variations. For instance, some penguins may require more fish during breeding season, while herbivorous animals may need adjustments to their diet depending on the availability and quality of forage.
- Penguin: Primarily fish-based diet. The type and quantity of fish may vary based on species and habitat.
- Elephant: Requires a balanced diet of 6.5 parts herbal matter and 4.5 parts vegetables. This includes grasses, leaves, fruits, and branches.
- Giraffe: 3.5 parts herbal matter and 1.5 parts vegetables. Giraffes are primarily browsers, feeding on leaves and twigs from trees.
- Gorilla: 1 part herbal matter and 2.5 parts vegetables. Gorillas are primarily frugivores, but they also consume leaves, stems, and insects.
- Hippo: 2.5 parts herbal matter and 2.5 parts vegetables. Hippos are primarily herbivores, grazing on grasses and aquatic plants.
- Moose: 2 parts herbal matter and 1 part vegetables. Moose are primarily browsers, feeding on leaves, twigs, and bark.
- Wallaby: 2 parts herbal matter and 1 part vegetables. Wallabies are primarily grazers, feeding on grasses and herbs.
- Zebra: 1 part herbal matter and 1.5 parts vegetables. Zebras are primarily grazers, feeding on grasses and herbs.
