Still, it's money well spent, and you should get it early on since it paves the road for other revenue streams. Where to Find the Metal Detector

How to use the Metal Detector in Webfishing
To access your inventory, click the bag symbol in the upper right corner of the screen once you've bought the Metal Detector. You can add the Metal Detector to your hot bar by finding it, hovering your mouse over it, and then pressing a number from 1 to 5.
To equip your Metal Detector, exit your inventory and press the designated number. Then, go around. Things discovered using the Metal Detector aren't located in certain places as the Spectral Bones are, so you'll just have to aim about until you find one.
Pay attention to the beeps and keep an eye out for the red dot above your character. This will indicate the presence of an item nearby that you may locate with the Metal Detector. The speed of the dots increases as you approach the target, and decreases as you move away.
When you're near enough, a place to dig will show up. Press E to interact and retrieve the item from beneath the earth when you walk up to it. Although the majority of what you uncover will be rubbish, there are uncommon fragments that can be found and used to unlock special cosmetics.
It is not necessary to explore the map, at least in my opinion. Finding objects may be time-based rather than location-based, as I was alerted multiple times by the red dot and beeping sound while writing this article with Webfishing open and leaving my character equipped with the Metal Detector. That's fantastic news if you're quietly enjoying the game.
Cosmetics and pieces for All Metal Detector
