How to Dismiss/Switch Heroes in The Last Flame?
Before we go into how to change heroes, the devs have brought up a small caveat that we should be aware of.
Hero Dismissal and Switching Made Easy!
Changing heroes in The Last Flame is all about carefully crafting your party to give you the best chance of winning battles. Here are the steps to switch heroes:
- Enter the Hero Panel: The Hero Panel is where all of your recruited heroes can be viewed. This option can be found in the main menu whenever you are not in combat or in a camp.
- To start selecting the hero card of an active hero by clicking on the one that should be replaced with your new hero, and additional information and options related to only that hero will then appear.
- Select a Different Hero: In order to dismiss or switch, simply click on the little red boot icon located at the card's bottom left. You might need to narrow your focus a little to get a good look at it because it is on the small side.
You can now dismiss or switch heroes in The Last Flame with the icon. Now, here's the thing: for whatever reason you may not see this red button.
The warning
On the removing and replacing of heroes, the maker of The Last Flame put out an important caveat. If players have more heroes than the number accommodated by the battleground, they will not be able to view the red boot icon, which is used to dismiss heroes. By default, five is the cap of heroes who can be taken into battle. You will not view the dismissal option on the Hero Panel unless you have recruited a sixth hero or more. This will allow you, conditionally, to dismiss heroes from the Hero Panel by clicking the small red boot icon at the bottom left of their card to make room for new recruits.
