How to Get Bridge Anchor Blueprints from the Corporation in The Alters

In The Alters, Act 1 presents players with a critical challenge: crossing a treacherous lava flow blocking their escape from the planet’s deadly sun. To progress, players must obtain the Bridge Anchor Blueprints from the corporation, but contacting Earth isn’t immediately possible. This guide will walk you through the entire process, from building the necessary structures to gathering resources and finally constructing the bridge.

Step 1: Build the Rapidium Ark

Before players can request the blueprints, they must first construct the Rapidium Ark, a crucial module needed to advance the main questline. Here’s what you’ll need:

• 30 Metals
• 120 Rapidium
• 100 Organics

Once you’ve gathered these materials, open the Base Building menu from the Command Center and assemble the Rapidium Ark.

Step 2: Contact Maxwell at Ally Corp

After completing the Rapidium Ark, players must contact Maxwell, their corporate liaison. Updating him on the module’s construction unlocks the option to request assistance—specifically, the Bridge Anchor Blueprints.
However, Maxwell reveals that the original blueprints were scrapped due to failed experiments in another reality. Instead, he provides unfinished drafts, which your Jan Scientist alter can refine into a usable solution.

Step 3: Research the Bridge Anchor

With the incomplete blueprints in hand, assign the Jan Scientist alter to research the Bridge Anchor in the Mission branch of the Research menu. This process takes 10 hours (in-game time).

Step 4: Gather Materials for Bridge Anchors

Once research is complete, players can craft Bridge Anchors at the Workshop. Each anchor requires:

• 20 Metals
• 20 Polymers

Since Polymers must be synthesized first, here’s how to produce them:

• 10 Polymers = 20 Organics + 20 Minerals (processed in the Refinery)

To build all four Bridge Anchors needed to cross the lava, you’ll need:

• 80 Metals
• 80 Polymers (requiring 160 Organics & 160 Minerals)
