The process of "dying" in Supervive is divided into two distinct stages, offering multiple opportunities for teammates to bring a player back into the fight.

1. Wisp State

After a Hunter loses all their health, they do not immediately exit the game. Instead, they transition into a Wisp state.

• Downed State: The Wisp represents a "downed" state, providing teammates with a short window of opportunity to revive the fallen player.
• Movement and Invulnerability: Players in the Wisp state can still move around, which is crucial for repositioning away from danger. Critically, a Wisp is impervious to damage from enemies, allowing them to safely navigate.
• Health Depletion: Despite being invulnerable, the Wisp's health bar will slowly deplete over time. If the Wisp's health reaches zero, the player is fully eliminated and enters spectator mode.
• Reviving a Friendly Wisp: To revive a friendly Wisp, a teammate must stand on top of it for a few seconds. As the teammate stands on the Wisp, a green bar over the Wisp will fill up, indicating revival progress. This action also stops the Wisp's health from decreasing further during the revival attempt.
• Interruption: If the reviving teammate steps away from the Wisp, both the Wisp’s revive bar progress and its health will begin to deplete again.
• Enemy Interaction: If an enemy steps onto a Wisp, its health will deplete faster. Even if a friendly teammate is simultaneously standing over the Wisp, its health will continue to fall (though at a slower rate than if no friendly was present).
• Strategic Repositioning (as a Wisp): As a Wisp, your ability to move is vital. Immediately upon being downed, begin to move away from the direct engagement zone to give your teammates safer space and time to initiate a revive without being exposed to active combat.

2. Deathbox

When a Hunter's health fully depletes while they are in the Wisp state, they are eliminated from the active match, and their Deathbox appears on the spot where they fell.

• Looting: Players can interact with the Deathbox to loot the fallen Hunter’s items, Powers, and armor. This is a crucial way to acquire resources from eliminated players.
• Reviving from Deathbox: Teammates can also hold the interact (E) key at the Deathbox to initiate a revive for the eliminated Hunter.
• Risks: Reviving from a Deathbox takes a considerable amount of time to complete. Furthermore, the revival process generates a lot of noise, which can be heard through the fog of war by nearby enemies. This makes Deathbox revives high-risk, high-reward plays that require carefulsituational awareness and team coordination.

3. Respawn Beacon

If a teammate is fully eliminated and could not be revived through theirWisp state or Deathbox, they can still be brought back into the matchusing a Respawn Beacon.

• Activation: To revive a dead teammate using a Respawn Beacon, a live teammate must stand within the beacon’s circumference and wait for the green circle to fill up.
• Interruption: If an enemy steps into the beacon’s area while a revive is in progress, the reviving progress will immediately pause until the enemy leaves oris eliminated.
• Locating Beacons: You can search for nearby Respawn Beacons on your map by looking for their distinctive icon.
• Beacon Status:
  • If the icon is greyed out, the beacon needs to be built by spending gold before it can be used. This usually involves activating a build promptat the beacon location and holding the interact key while gold isconsumed.
  • If the icon is red, the beacon has already been used by a team (either yours or an enemy's) and is now disabled for the remainder of that match.

4. Everbeacon

The Everbeacon is a special type of Respawn Beacon that offers a unique strategic element.

• Multiple Uses: Unlike standard Respawn Beacons, Everbeacons can be used multiple times to revive teammates within a single match.
• Location: There is typically an Everbeacon present near the center of the map, making it a highly contested objective.
• Lethal Sphere: A critical mechanic of the Everbeacon is that coming into contact with its central sphere will instantly kill any Hunter, whether they are an ally or an enemy. This adds a dangerousenvironmental hazard that players must navigate carefully whileattempting to utilize or contest the Everbeacon.
