In the high-stakes battle royale of
Supervive, where 12 teams of players fight for supremacy, effective communication is the key to victory. Whether you're playing with a pre-made squad of friends or teaming up with complete strangers, clear and quick communication can make the difference between a clutch play and an early defeat.
Supervive offers multiple ways to communicate with your teammates, ensuring you can always stay coordinated, regardless of your setup. This article will break down the different communication methods available in the game.
Supervive: How To Chat With Your Teammates
Communication in Supervive
Communication is a core aspect of the gameplay, allowing you to quickly share information about enemy locations, strategy, and resource needs. The game provides three main ways to do this.
1. Voice Chat
Voice chat is the most direct and efficient method of communication in
Supervive. It's enabled by default and allows for spontaneous, real-time coordination without needing to take your eyes off the screen.
- How to Use: Voice chat is automatically enabled for your team. You can either use an open mic or set a push-to-talk keybind in the game's settings.
- Team vs. Party Voice: The game distinguishes between "Team Voice" and "Party Voice" settings. You can enable or disable voice chat for your entire team or just for your pre-made party members. This is particularly useful for squads who want to use a separate communication platform like Discord for their party while still being able to communicate with a random fourth teammate.
- Best Use: Voice chat is most effective when playing with friends, where you can easily coordinate without language barriers or technical issues. It allows for immediate callouts, such as "enemy behind the rock" or "I'm pushing left," which are vital for a fast-paced game.
2. Text Chat

It's a great way to communicate more complexinformation or use common gaming slang to get your point across quickly.
- How to Use: To open the text chat, press the default key, which is 'Enter'. This works in the game, in the lobby, or on the loading screen. Oncethe chat window is open, you can switch between different chat channels.
- Chat Channels:
- Game: This is a general chat channel that broadcasts your message to all players in your immediate vicinity, including enemies.
- Team: This channel sends your messages to all members of your team, whether they are in your party or are random teammates.
- Party: This channel is exclusive to your pre-made party members. Any randomplayers on your team will not be able to see these messages.
3. Emotes
Emotes are the third and fastest form of communication, perfect for quick,non-verbal cues. They are a universal language that can be used toconvey a variety of messages with the press of a button.
- How to Use: You must first assign your most-used emotes to an emote wheel in thegame's menu. From there, you can bind specific keys to trigger theseemotes instantly.
- Types of Emotes: The gamefeatures a wide variety of emotes, from simple commands like "On my way" and "Need healing" to celebratory and expressive emotes like "GG!" and"Thumbs up."
- Best Use: Emotes are great formoments when you can't talk or type, such as in the middle of a tensefirefight. They can be used to quickly thank a teammate, ask for arevive, or signal an enemy's position without making a sound that couldgive away your location.
