General Tips for Mining

• Axe Upgrades are Key: The quality of the ores you can mine is directly tied to the level of your axe. Make upgrading your axe a top priority to unlock access to higher-tier ores and rare gems.
• The Glider is Your Friend: Many of the most valuable mining spots are in elevated, hard-to-reach areas. The glider is essential for getting to these locations. Pay attention to the wind, as a two-arrow wind speed is required to reach the highest points.
• Ore Nodes vs. Treasure: The small, gray lumps you see on the ground are ore nodes. These always give you a mineral or ore. Don't confuse them with the random "sparkles" that appear on the ground, which are treasure you can dig up with your hoe.
• High-Value Gems: Keep an eye out for Diamonds (worth over 10,000G), Pink Diamonds (32,500G+), and Orichalcum, which are the most valuable minerals in the game.

Spring Ores and Mineral Spawns

During Spring, most of the ore nodes are concentrated in themountains. Since you're just starting the game, you may not have all the tools or access to every area, but these spots are a great place tostart.

• Zephyr Town: You can find a few nodesscattered around town, particularly near the area where the HappySprites live (accessible with the glider).
• The Mountains: This is the most lucrative area. Explore the mountains and cliffs, and look for nodes in the following areas:
  • Near the entrance to the mountains.
  • On the ledges and cliffs near the waterfalls.
  • Around the paths and trails leading to the higher elevations.

Summer Ores and Mineral Spawns

Summer mining is very similar to Spring, with many of the same locations.However, some nodes are repositioned, and new ones appear.

• Zephyr Town: Look for new nodes that spawn near the Café Madeleine. You can alsocontinue to find nodes in the elevated areas accessible with the glider.
• The Mountains: The most luxurious spots remain the same: the highest point of themountain and the southeast cliff of Zephyr Town. Use the glider when the wind is strong to access these high-value spots.
• Mining Tip: During your first year, you will likely start getting a lot of CopperOre. Do not stop mining! Even though it's common, it can still be soldfor a good price, used in valuable crafts, and is often a byproduct ofmining higher-tier ores.

Autumn Ores and Mineral Spawns

In Autumn, the ores in the mountains are repositioned once again. Thereare fewer nodes in Zephyr Town overall, but the top of the mountain sees an increase in high-level ores.

• The Equestrian Park: This area will be unlocked just before the Horse Derby event. The parkis quite large, but you can find a number of ore nodes scattered aroundthe course, mostly by the trees and bushes at the center. Riding a horse can help you cover the area more quickly.
• The Mountains: Continue to farm the top of the mountain for a better chance at getting rare ores and gems.

Winter Ores and Mineral Spawns

During Winter, the ore nodes reposition themselves again, but the change isnot as significant as in previous seasons. Ores become more accessibleand concentrated around Zephyr Town.

• Zephyr Town: Look for nodes by the wooden house and other accessible areas around the town.
• The Mountains: Continue your daily farm run in the mountains, as this remains the most profitable area for mining.
