How to Reach the Wormways in Silksong

One such elusive early-game location is the Wormways, a treacherous network of tunnels rich with valuable resources and a key tool for any adventurer. Finding the entrance, however, requires a specific item and knowledge of the path. This comprehensive guide will detail exactly how to reach the Wormways in Silksong, ensuring you can claim its rewards.

Prerequisite: Acquiring the Simple Key

Before you can even attempt to enter the Wormways, you must first obtain a Simple Key. The most straightforward method is to purchase one from a merchant.

• Location: Travel to the Bone Bottom area.
• The Vendor: Locate the specific NPC vendor who sells the key.
• Cost: The Simple Key is priced at 500 Rosaries.
• Preparation: You will need to farm Rosaries by defeating enemies in the surrounding areas until you have accumulated the necessary amount. This is an excellent opportunity to hone your combat skills and explore nearby regions.

Once you have the Simple Key in your inventory, you have two distinct paths to choose from to find the locked door to the Wormways.

Path 1: Through The Marrow and Mosshome

This route is a more direct and linear path to the entrance.

Start at Bellway Station: Begin your journey from the Bellway Station fast travel point located in The Marrow.

Head Left: From the station, proceed leftward through the environment until you reach the bench in the Mosshome area.

Exit Outside: Interact with the bench to save your progress, then continue left to exit into an outdoor section.

Platforming Challenge: Here, you'll need to jump up and use your dash ability to land on ahanging elevator platform. From there, dash again to the far left corner to discover a hidden passage.

Navigate the Hazard: Enter the passage and immediately move under a platform to avoid apoisonous enemy above. Quickly sprint across the room and jump into thenext chamber.

The Locked Door: Inside, you will find the distinctive locked door. Interact with it and use your Simple Key to gain access to the Wormways.

Path 2: The Scenic Route Through Shellwood

This alternative path takes you through the Wormways from a different angle, allowing you to explore part of it before even using the key.

Enter Shellwood: Make your way to the Shellwood area.

Descend Left: Progress all the way to the left until you find a shaft that allows you to drop down toward Bone Bottom.

Find the Entrance: As you float down, stay close to the left wall. You will spot an opening leading directly into an accessible section of the Wormways.

Traverse the Tunnels: Carefully navigate forward, avoiding the swarms of traveling bugs thatinfest the tunnels. Use your nail to defeat them; this will help youfarm Silk needed for healing if you take damage.

Claim Your Reward: As you press on, be sure to grab the Dead Bug's Purse tool. This invaluable item allows you to retain a portion of yourRosaries upon death, making future exploration less punishing.
