What is the Rune Rage Skill?

Rune Rage is a high-damage area-of-effect (AoE) Silk Skill. When activated, Hornet summons multiple magical runes that appear randomly across the screen. After a short delay, these runes detonate, damaging any enemies caught in the blast.

• Best Used For: Clearing rooms of multiple small enemies, dealing with flying foes, or applying pressure to larger bosses that occupy a lot of space.
• Drawback: Due to its random nature, it is less effective against single, fast-moving targets where precision is key.

Step-by-Step: How to Find Rune Rage

Acquiring Rune Rage is a multi-step process that involves finding a key, navigating a challenging area, and defeating a tough boss.
Step 1: Locate the Key of Apostate
Your journey begins by finding the Key of Apostate. This crucial item is hidden within the ancient, imposing region known as The Slab. Explore thoroughly to find this key, as it is the only way to progress.

Step 2: Journey to The Slab's Bellway

Once you have the key, make your way to a specific sub-area within The Slab called the Bellway. From here, navigate to the room directly above it. You will find aconspicuous, locked door requiring the Key of Apostate. Use the key tounlock it and proceed.

Step 3: Navigate the Prison Depths

The path inside is a vertical, cavernous prison complex. To find your target:

Descend downward through the tunnels.

Look for an opening on the right-hand side and proceed through it.

Climb upward, then head right again until you find a platform allowing you to drop down.

Descend this new shaft, and you will discover a large bell secured by heavy chains.

Interacting with the bell reveals a chilling description: "Penitent, First of the First. Guilty of the sin of apostasy. Penance by constriction. Absolution denied." Heed this as a warning—freeing this prisoner will initiate a boss fight.

Step 4: Defeat the First Sinner Boss

Releasing the First Sinner triggers a combat encounter. This boss is fast,aggressive, and its attacks can be difficult to dodge.

• Boss Strategy: The arena provides plenty of space to maneuver. Focus on learning itsattack patterns. Prioritize evasion over aggression. Look for openingsafter it completes a combo attack to land your own hits safely. Patience is key.
