The quest begins after you finish the previous mission, "A Lot to Process." You are directed to speak with the character Zadra to receive your next objectives. However, a common glitch prevents the game from recognizing this interaction, leaving players trapped.
The Primary Fix:Wait it Out: Initially, Zadra may be stuck in an animation loop at her computer. Exercise patience and allow her to finish her routine. She should eventually walk down a staircase and position herself between two canisters containing Rippers. This often triggers the dialogue prompt. The Advanced Workaround: If waiting fails, a more reliable method involves the game's co-op mechanics.- Step 1: Create a new Vault Hunter character from the main menu. Skip the prologue if you have the option.
- Step 2: Load into the game world with this new character, then immediately quit back to the main menu.
- Step 3: Return to your primary character’s save file and attempt to speak with Zadra again. This process can sometimes reset the mission’s internal flags.
Important Note: Developer Gearbox Software is aware of this progression-halting bug. If the above solutions don’t work, an official patch is likely in development. To minimize the risk of encountering this bug, always try to speak to Zadra immediately after concluding "A Lot to Process" without engaging in other activities first.
One Fell Swoop: A Complete Mission Walkthrough
Once you successfully interact with Zadra, the real action begins. Here’s how to navigate the rest of the mission.
1. Sabotage Sol's Production FacilityFollow Zadra to the exit of her base. Your new objective is to travel north to Sol's Production Facility, located in the Dissected Plateau region. Upon entering, take the right-hand door and eliminate all Order guards on the production line. Locate and interact with a computer terminal on the northwest side of the room. Continue deeper into the facility until you find a synth processor valve; open it and then shoot it to destroy it. Finally, return to the main entrance to meet Zadra, who will call an elevator.
2. Activate the Locust and Fight the Bio-BulkheadYou’ll soon encounter a heavily armored door. To bypass it, use your grapple hook on a vent located directly above it. This vent leads into a lab—clear out the enemies inside and flip a switch on the south wall. This activates "Locust" containers, which are key to progression. Grab one with your grapple and throw it at the fortified white door to destroy it. You’ll need to repeat this process on a second door in the same room (southeast) to advance.
Past the vending machines, you’ll face the boss, the Bio-Bulkhead. Its armor is impervious to direct fire. To damage it, you must throw a Locustcanister at it, which will temporarily strip its armor. Aim for theboss's now-exposed health bar (yellow), which is highly vulnerable toCorrosive and Cryo damage.
3. Help Rush and Destroy the Airship
After defeating the Bio-Bulkhead, use a series of grapple points to chase adeparting airship. Don’t worry about failing to reach it—this isscripted. Fast travel back to the Outbounders HQ at the Launchpad andhelp your ally, Rush, defend against an Order assault. Be ready torevive him if he falls.
Once the area is secure, use your grapple to remove debris blocking a FastTravel station in a nearby bunker. Return to the Launchpad surface andenter the orange portal on the southeast side to board the airship.Inside, locate and press a button to reveal three critical systems.Destroy all three with your weapons, then simply jump off the ship tocomplete the mission.
