How to Fix Failed to Connect to the Server API
The following fix is applicable if you are running a dedicated Satisfactory server and are encountering this issue:
1. Forward All Ports to Both TCP and UDP:
- The server API now uses TCP instead of UDP.
- Forward the 7777 Game Port, 15000 Beacon Port, and 15777 Query Port to both UDP and TCP on your router.
2. Delete the -multihome Command:
- You no longer need the -multihome=0.0.0.0 command as the server now natively supports IPv6 and IPv4.
3. If Using Unraid: Change Network Mode to Host
- In Unraid, you would change the Network type from Bridge to Host.
- After this is completed, your dedicated server should connect and show in the in-game Server Manager.
