As already mentioned, Ponyta is a Generation I Pokémon from the Kanto Region, which has changed appearance in the Galar region due to the absorption of vital energy from the surrounding plant life. How to find Ponyta galariana in Pokemon Sword and Shield?
If you are a Sword player and want to acquire this character, then you will have to redeem it from Pokemon Shield. So first you have to find it and capture it. However, you should know that Ponyta will only be able to catch him when you have progressed halfway through the game, so if you haven't reached that point yet, then you'll have to wait until you get more level.
If you meet the above requirements, you must start your capture plan by heading to Glimwood Tangle, located south of Ballonlea, home of the fifth gym. When you arrive you will have to make an exclamation mark appear in the high grass, this sign will indicate a wild encounter of Pokémon, although this will not always be so, as a Ponyta has a 10 percent chance of being in the high grass.
In case you don't know, in Glimwood Tangle Pokémon won't be produced physically identifiable on the Overworld map. Instead, battles will be limited to clashes outside the world, making coaches unaware which Pokémon has appeared until the fight begins.
Evolution of Ponyta
This character evolves to Rapidash when he reaches level 38. After this happens, the Pokemon will have a new appearance, full of bigger statistics, becoming a fairy psychic of double type.
