Among the special trials available, the Missed Delivery challenge offers the chance to gain 5,000 experience and $5,000 in cash. The haunt search just got a whole lot tougher since this week's Phasmophobia challenge features a special theme: missing equipment.

This challenge, Missed Delivery, can be completed if you can spot the specter Campus Assassin lurking around Brownstone High School a total of three times. This trial is available for one week with no penalties, so if you want to see your ranking go up in leaps and bounds, this is a great challenge to get started with.

Overcoming Fear of Spiders and Missed Delivery Tips

The Missed Delivery is one of the more challenging trials you can be a part of. With limited resources and a large map, it can be challenging; here's what might help.

Assemble all tools and supplies at the entrance.

Get all you will need ready by gathering it all in front of the Brownstone High School entrance and placing it on the ground beside it before opening the doors. What's important is that you must be able to make use of all the stuff provided for you irrespective of the given minimal resources.

With every step one takes, the clock starts to tick, and the specter is free to start its search. Because of that, you do not want to waste one second in there. You will save yourself a lot of time if you remain in one place between the vehicle and the map.

There is a trick, whereby you can offload all equipment without technically initiating the contract. You need to continuously go around the front door to your vehicle. You are utterly immune to the commencement of your contract duration as long as you don't open the front door. Later on, your tools will be in easy access from the region you study, which saves you time after all.

First thing to do in an investigation: check if fuse box is on.

Because power outage is such a huge problem in this trial, turning the fuse box on should be the very first thing you do in every investigation. Make sure you look it up on the map on the truck before you go inside fumble about in the dark with your limited tools if you can't turn the electricity on.

You'll also want to quickly turn the power on to get the map warmed up. The temperature takes some time to adjust, so you need to keep the power on if you want an accurate reading from the thermometer. If you use a thermometer in the first place, which is what I do normally, it is practically impossible to find the ghost room without having the central heating turned on.

Jump, Don't Stay Still

While this would be the easier option in a normal hunt or early hunt ghost, running is far and away your best option during this challenge. You never can tell if the ghost does not know exactly where you are until it is too late, so hiding during a search is not always a good idea.

Running is the best option to get away from a ghost on such a big map as Brownstone High School because one can get around by doing that. The whole school is done in one big circle on both floors, so it was rather easy for the ghost-just to go in circles until it gave up. You can always run away from a ghost on a hunt—especially if you use Incense to momentarily stun it—as long as the ghost isn't a Revenant or another extremely fast ghost.

Join forces with your pals, and have fun!

This will be significantly easier when you form a team with additional players: Brownstone High School is one of the most difficult maps to navigate; when you're just starting to put a team together, it's a lot easier to divide and conquer than to search the entire map by yourself. Alternatively, you can speed up the ghost-hunting process by deciding who goes where.

You can still make a guess about the ghost type, even when you are dead. This is particularly possible in the case of team play. Team up, and the teamwork will make the Missed Delivery challenge much more realistic as you get more time, hands, and odds of success.

Get another angle of the map

Brownstone High School ranks pretty high up there if you are looking at some of the more challenging ghost hunting maps. In any case, it'll go a lot easier when you learn the map beforehand. To explore the map without getting haunted to death, I would recommend making a custom mode with friendly ghosts on.

If you're playing with your whole squad, get them to switch to custom mode to explore the map with you. That way, you learn the layout of the map together, work out some kind of plan of action for when you actually do the task. If you all do it in advance, you'll be so much better equipped to handle whatever the ghost throws at you.

With the nature of Phasmophobia's ghost system in place, some matches are going to be considerably easier compared to others, which brings me to my next point: don't stop until you succeed.

While some specters are incredibly easy to spot, others are downright challenging. It may seem impossible to capture the spirit, or you may be able to recognize it immediately; this depends on the kind of ghost you get. For this reason, you should give this task multiple tries to see if your luck changes.
