How To Customise Your Striker in Mecha Break

Mecha BREAK, as a free-to-play title, offers extensive customization options for Strikers, allowing players to personalize their mechs with a wide array of designs. This freedom, from altering entire mech designs to tweaking individual parts, encourages long-term engagement with the game. While the game's various notifications might sometimes overshadow the customization reminders, changing the look of your Striker is quite straightforward once you know where to look.

Mecha Break: How To Customise Your Striker

Customizing your Striker in Mecha BREAK is primarily done through the Striker Bay in the main lobby.

Access Striker Bay: Ensure you are in the "Striker Bay" Tab located in the game's main lobby. This is your personal garage where your mechs are stored.

Navigate to Striker Design: Within the Striker Bay, a new sub-menu will appear. From these options, select "Striker Design." It is typically the second-to-last option in this sub-menu.

Choose a Design Slot: Upon entering "Striker Design," the main screen will change, displaying three design slots on the left side of the interface.

• One slot will be unlocked by default, allowing you to start customizing immediately.
• The other two slots are initially unavailable but can be unlocked using Mission Tokens.

Select an Open Slot: Click on the unlocked design slot (or any unlocked slot you wish to customize).

Explore Customization Options: A new set of options will appear on the left, each dedicated to customizing different aspects of your mech:

• Skin: This option allows you to apply pre-made designs that alter the overall look of your Striker, making it appear significantly different from its base model. Skins can change the actual physical appearance of certain components, like new wing shapes or alternate shoulder plates, beyond just color.
• Paint: This gives you granular control over your mech's color scheme. You can change the color of the entire mech or modify specific parts like arms, legs, torso, and weapons. There are options for metallic, matte, or glossy finishes, offering a high degree of color modification freedom.
• Pattern/Insignia:
  • Pattern: Applied to a single body part of the Striker, acting like decals such as flames, camo, or circuits. Only one pattern can be applied at a time, and placement is fixed per pattern type.
  • Insignia: These are emblems or logos that can be placed on multiple body parts of the Striker. You can place up to five insignias on any part, resizing, rotating, and repositioning them freely for unique combinations.
• Accent: Used to change the outlines and highlights of the mech. Accents are useful for separating colors that might otherwise blend into each other, adding subtle details like neon glows or edge lighting.

Save Your Design: Once you are satisfied with your customized design, ensure you save it for future use.

How To Unlock More Cosmetics

Mecha BREAK offers various avenues to unlock additional cosmetic options for yourStriker, ranging from free methods that require grinding to premiumpurchases.

• Mission Tokens:
  • Acquisition: Mission Tokens are earned by playing the game's various modes. This includes PvE modes like Mashmak (though you must queue for Matchmaking Mode, not Casual Mode, for rewards) and any "Operation." You can earn more by completing challenges (both in-match anddaily/weekly) and winning matches. Daily sign-ins also provide MissionTokens.
  • Usage: These tokens can be used to unlock individual customization options onthe Striker design page (such as additional design slots). Moresignificantly, they can be spent in the Matrix Selections under the Logistics Tab to acquire more cosmetic items, including new Strikers, beacons, andaccess cards. Note that some items, like new Strikers, can be quiteexpensive (e.g., 15,000 tokens for Inferno).
• Mashmak Mode (Paint Kits):
  • Acquisition: Playing the Mashmak PvE extraction mode offers a chance to earn free paint kits. When you down and loot enemies, you might find these kits.
  • Extraction Requirement: Crucially, for the paint kit and any other pick-ups to appear in your inventory permanently, you must successfully extract from the Mashmak mission. If you don't get one on your first attempt,continue playing the mode, as the more you play and extract, the higheryour chances of obtaining paint kits.
• Corite (Premium Currency):
  • Acquisition: Corite is the game's premium currency and is primarily obtained by using real-life money.
  • Usage: You can spend Corite in the Matrix Marketplace. Here, you can either bid on items or outright buy exclusive designs and other cosmetic options that are generally notavailable through base game progression or other currencies.Occasionally, Corite can also be earned through official Mecha BREAK Discord server giveaways or as compensation for server maintenance, though these are less consistent methods.
• Matrix Contract (Battle Pass):
  • Purchasing the Matrix Contract (Battle Pass) can significantly boost your cosmetic acquisition. While it costs realmoney, it offers various benefits like immediate unlocks (e.g., theInferno Striker), a 200% Mission Token boost from playing various modes, and access to exclusive seasonal items inMatrix Selections. It also provides Supply Crates that can containMatrix Credits and other resources.
• Supply Crates/Random Drops: Some cosmetics can also be obtained through Supply Crates, which may be acquired through the Battle Pass or other in-game activities. These can offer surprise cosmetic gear.
