How to change/switch Language in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

The game supports numerous languages. Full interface and subtitle support are available for many languages. Complete voice-over options are provided for major languages, including:

Limited language support (interface and subtitles only) is available for other languages, such as:

• Czech

• Vietnamese

• Simplified Chinese

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: How to change/switch Language

Method 1: Changing Language via Steam:

Open Steam: Launch the Steam client on your PC.

Go to Library: Click on the "Library" tab.

Right-click on the Game: Right-click on Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Select Properties: Choose "Properties" from the dropdown menu.

Go to the General Tab: Select the "General" tab on the left.

Find the Language Option: Locate the "Language" section.

Choose Your Preferred Language: Click the dropdown menu and select your desired language.

Wait for the Update: Steam will download the necessary language files. Allow the update to complete.

Launch the Game: Once the update is finished, launch the game. It should now be in your chosen language.

Method 2: Changing Language In-Game (Text Only):

Note: This method changes the text language (subtitles, menus, etc.). It does not change the spoken language (voice-over).

Pause the Game: Press the Escape (Esc) key or the Menu button on your controller to pause the game.

Go to Settings: Navigate to the "Settings" option.

Select "Subtitles and Captioning": Find the "Subtitles and Captioning" or a similarly named section.

Find the "Text Language" Option: Locate the "Text Language" setting.

Choose Your Preferred Language: Click on the "Text Language" option and select your desired language from the list.

Apply the Changes: The game should apply the changes automatically.

Resume Playing: Exit the settings menu and return to the game.

Important Notes:

• Voice-Over Language: To change the spoken language (voice-over), you must use the Steam method (Method 1). The in-game settings only affect the text language.
• Download Size: Downloading language packs can take some time and require a reasonable amount of disk space.
• Game Restart: After changing the language through Steam, you must restart the game for the changes to take effect.
• In-Game Text Changes: Changing the text language in-game (Method 2) usually applies immediately without a game restart.
