How Romance Works:

Romance in KCD2 primarily involves intimate sequences with different characters. While the game hints at Henry's feelings for Theresa, other romantic encounters are possible.Dialogue choices marked with a heart icon are crucial for triggering romantic scenes. Selecting these options is generally the only way to initiate a romantic or sexual encounter.

1. Myshka (Wedding Crashers Quest):

While not a full-fledged romance, Henry can dance with Myshka during the"Wedding Crashers" quest. Select these dialogue options:

• Myshka doesn’t care about poems.
• Nice place.
• I’ve been bothering you, too.
• Thanks, I’m really trying.

2. Klara (Trosky's Main Quest):

Klara can be romanced during Trosky's main quest.

• First Encounter: Help Klara gather flowers. Crucially, don't express suspicion about the Fortress' Lord. Solve her riddle by answering, "I think she’s called Klara."
• Second Encounter: After returning to the fortress and healing the wounded, successfullycure all three wounded individuals. This unlocks a romantic encounterwith Klara, granting a combat bonus the next day.

3. Hans Capon:

Hans offers two potential romantic opportunities.

• First Opportunity: Immediately after saving him in "For Whom the Bell Tolls," choose the heart option during the conversation.
• Second (and more significant) Opportunity: During the "Hunger and Despair" quest (near the game's end), talk to Hans in his room and select these options:
  • Why are you telling me this now?
  • We have a lot in common with them.
  • (Kiss him).
• Note: It's unconfirmed if prior romance flags with Hans are required for this scene.

4. Rosa Ruthard:

Romancing Rosa is a longer process. You need to build reputation with herthrough various quests and save her during the "Dancing with the Devil"quest. The final romance scene occurs during the "Oratores" quest. After defeating the enemies, choose these options:

• It’ll be alright.
• Allies are our most valuable asset.
• I won’t let you go away.
• (Kiss Rosa).

5. Katherine:

Katherine seems to be a "canon" romance option.

• Requirements: Complete all of Katherine's quests (the Kuttenberg murder mystery and helping her catch her stalker in Sigismund’s camp).
• Trigger: During the "Hunger and Despair" quest, if you ignore Hans' romance and head toward the wall, Katherine will approach you.
• Choices: Choose options that show Henry cares for her to unlock a romantic scene.
• Canon Implications: During the game's final sequence, Henry can mention Katherine as his significant other, suggesting a stronger connection.

Other Potential Options:

While the above are the confirmed romance options, KCD2's reactivity mightoffer more. The game also features bathhouse ladies who offer their"services."
