How to unlock Accessories for free in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals Season 3 has launched, bringing with it a plethora of new cosmetic options, including 10 fresh costumes in the Battle Pass, new color styles, bundles in the shop, and an exciting new type of cosmetic: Accessories. The best part about these Accessories is that they can be unlocked for free simply by playing the game.

Marvel Rivals: unlock Accessories for free

To acquire Accessories for free in Marvel Rivals, the process is straightforward:

Play Matches: Simply engage in any match type, whether it's Quick Play or Competitive.

Earn Accessory Points: With every match you play, you will earn Accessory Points.

Redeem for Accessories: Once you have accumulated enough Accessory Points, you can redeem them for the Accessories of your choice in the game's shop.

Initial Accessories:At the launch of Marvel Rivals Season 3, there are eight Accessories available. The early access version showcased two specific examples:

• Deadpool Plush: This accessory is for Jeff the Land Shark.
• Orochi Plush: This accessory is for Psylocke.
  

It's important to note that these Accessories are hero-specific, meaning they can only be equipped by the designated character. For example, the Deadpool Plush cannot be equipped by any character other than Jeff the Land Shark. However, NetEase has indicated that more Accessories for various characters will be added in future updates.
Other Accessories confirmed for Season 3 include:

• Jeff Handbag: For Emma Frost
• MJ Plush: For Spider-Man
• Groot Plush: For Rocket Raccoon
• Rocket Plush: For Groot
• Alpine Plush: For Winter Soldier
• H.E.R.B.I.E. Plush: For Invisible Woman

Tracking Accessory Points:You can easily check your current Accessory Point balance by navigating to the Play screen in the game's lobby. There should be a visual indicator or tooltip displaying your accumulated points.

Important Details Regarding Accessory Points:

• Weekly Cap: Accessory Points have a weekly cap of 700. This cap resets every Friday at 9:00 AM UTC (which is 5:00 AM in Caracas, Venezuela).
• First 200 Points Bonus: For the first 200 Accessory Points earned each week, you will receive a 100% bonus, effectively doubling the amount gained. This helps players get a quicker start on earning new Accessories.
• Points Carry Over: Any unused Accessory Points will carry over between seasons, so you don't have to worry about losing them at the end of Season 3.
• Cost: Each accessory costs 1,350 Accessory Points. This means it will take at least two weeks of hitting the weekly cap to earn enough points for one accessory.
