Choosing to leave without salutingVeronique might initially seem like the logical choice, given that shewas attempting to kill you. If you select this option, you will stillreceive most of the items typically acquired from her defeat, including:
- Coolant Control Room Key
- Blue Sheep's Mask
- Blue Sheep's Battle Apparel
Opting for this choice means you won't miss out on much in terms of practicalitems. This is particularly true if your overarching goal in Lies of P is to stifle P's humanity. Essentially, if you choose not to salute, you'll receive her basicdrops (excluding her weapon) and can proceed with the remainder ofChapter 2.
Salute Veronique:
If you choose to salute Veronique, you will receive the same list of items mentioned above, plus one additional, significant item: Veronique's Will. This item provides not only an important piece of lore but also a significant boost to P's humanity level. This boost is the primary difference between the two choices.
