Upon vanquishing Rahab in Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Raziel gains the remarkable ability to swim through water without reverting to the Spectral Realm.
This unlocks a multitude of exciting new avenues for exploration within the game. Certain routes will guide you to the game’s most potent Glyphs, while others will enhance your health and energy. Additionally, some paths will direct players toward their next story objective. As soon as players gain the ability to swim, they should immediately set their sights on the Fire Reaver.
After Rehab has fallen, players must retrace their steps to theshattered stained glass window to make their way out of the abbey. Thelower floor of this building is submerged, allowing players to dive into the water and swim freely. Starting from the center of the west side of the building, proceed eastward to discover a hidden stained glasswindow beneath the surface. Players can launch a projectile to breakthis and descend a lengthy spiral staircase.
At the bottom, theywill discover an egg that will hatch into one of Rahab’s kin, along with a multitude of additional eggs scattered throughout this area. Continue alongside the wall on your left until you find yourself facing thesouth wall. Move towards this wall and take a left, keeping your eyes on the wall. Discover an opening at the base of the wall. If players pushtheir limits, they will encounter a gate. Just stroll along the southwall from the gate, keeping an eye out for this opening. Players willdescend another stairwell.
As you make your way along the eastwall, keep an eye out for another stunning stained glass window waitingto be discovered. Break it apart and pursue the trail to discover anelemental forge. Engage with it, and watch as Raziel transforms theWraith Blade into a stunning flame-colored manifestation. Launchingprojectiles will now enable the player to unleash fireballs. These willinflict damage on enemies who are aware of your presence, while swiftlyeliminating any unsuspecting foe.
