Hades: How To Get Charon’s Loyalty Card

The Loyalty Card stands out as a distinctive Artifact in Hades, accessible quite early in your adventure. This unique Artifact stands apart from typical treasures like Diamonds or Ambrosia, as it cannot be acquired through conventional means like defeating bosses or completing bounties. Instead, it connects to a hidden Hades boss encounter, introducing an exhilarating element of discovery. If you're feeling a bit lost on where to start, here's a straightforward guide on how to obtain the Loyalty Card in Hades, along with information about the boss that drops it.

As you embark on your escape from Hades, your first objective is to locate and gain access to Charon's chamber. In each region, you can consistently find a Charon’s chamber positioned right before the boss encounter. Please note that this chamber will remain inactive for the Loyalty Card event; you need to meet Charon beforehand in the region.

As you step into Charon's chamber, your eyes may catch a glimpse of a bag of Obols resting beside him. Engaging with it will enable you to "Borrow" the Obols. Making this choice leads to an extraordinary experience, transporting you to Erebus for an intense showdown with Charon, the Stygian Boatman.

Overview of Charon Boss

In the role of the Stygian Boatman, Charon wields his oar to deliver powerful melee strikes and magical onslaughts, conjuring torrents of projectiles and crafting perilous whirlpools.

During the battle, keep your eyes on the purple skulls that emerge from both sides of the arena, all while ensuring you maintain a safe distance to dodge the boss’s swinging attacks.

While the boss may not be excessively aggressive, it does enter an impervious state several times, so it's important to consider this when utilizing Chthonic Companions effectively.

Once you bring Charon’s health down to approximately 15%, he will grant you the Loyalty Card as a reward. This Artifact provides a 20% discount on every purchase made at Charon’s shop, but keep in mind that this benefit applies only to your ongoing escape attempt. By acquiring the Loyalty Card, you'll also gain access to the "To Charon’s Credit" Trophy/Achievement.
