How to rescue Tibor in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

During the "Miri Fajta" quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you must rescue Tibor, the Voivode's son, from captivity in Semine. This guide details how to find Tibor and the different methods you can use to free him.

Finding Tibor:

Tibor is held captive at the Saddler's farm in the southwestern part of Semine.

Information Gathering: Talk to any townsfolk in Semine (housemaids, hired hands, named NPCs). Ask them about the captured nomad. They will eventually reveal Tibor's location at the Saddler's farm and give you a new map marker.

Saddler's Farm: The Saddler's farm is in the southwestern area of Semine.

Approaching the Barn: If you try to approach the barn where Tibor is held, workers will tell you to leave. However, you can still attempt to interact with them quickly.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: How to rescue Tibor

You have two main options for rescuing Tibor: persuading the Saddler's workers or sneaking into the barn.

1. Persuading the Hired Hand (or Guildsman Janek):

• Interaction: Talk to the Hired Hand (or Guildsman Janek, who sometimes appears instead) near the barn. Ask about Tibor.
• Persuasion Checks: If you ask to let Tibor go, you'll face these Speech checks:
  • "Let him go, now!" (Intimidation)
  • "Do you want more blood on your hands?" (Persuasion)
  • "What if I paid you?"
  • "I was just asking."
• Success: If youpass the Intimidation or Persuasion checks, the worker will tell you the key to Tibor's room is on a crate inside the barn and that they'll look the other way while you free him. This gives you free rein to rescueTibor. You also gain experience in the Speech skill.
• Failure: Failing the checks will cause the worker and nearby allies to attackyou. This can be a tough fight, and it's generally not worth the riskcompared to succeeding in the checks or sneaking in.
• Payment: You can also offer to pay for Tibor's release. The price depends onyour Speech and haggling skills, usually around 100-150 Groschen.

2. Sneaking into the Barn:

• Open Window: Head to the southernmost side of the Saddler's farm. You'll see Tiborthrough an open window of the barn. You can jump through this window toenter.
• Trespassing: This is considered trespassing. NPCs or guards patrolling the area might catch you and cause trouble.
• Exit: After freeing Tibor, he will jump out the same window. You can then follow him into the woods.

Which Method is Best?

• Persuasion (Ideal): Successfully persuading the workers is the easiest and most beneficialmethod, granting you free access to Tibor and Speech experience.
• Sneaking (Alternative): Sneaking is a viable option if you're good at stealth and want to avoid combat or spending Groschen. However, it carries the risk of beingcaught.
• Payment (Last Resort): Paying for Tibor's release is an option if you have plenty of money and don't want to deal with persuasion or sneaking.

Important Considerations:

• Saving and Reloading: If you fail the persuasion checks or get caught sneaking, you can always reload a previous save and try a different approach.
• Combat: If you choose the combat route, be prepared for a fight.
• Stealth: If you choose to sneak, be mindful of patrol patterns and avoid being seen.

By following these steps, you can successfully rescue Tibor and continue the "Miri Fajta" quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
