Where to find Voivode’s Letter of Safe Conduct in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

During the "Miri Fajta" quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you need to retrieve the Voivode's letter of safe conduct from Marika. This letter, originally from the emperor, is crucial for saving Marika and Bohush. Here's a guide to finding it:

Location of the Letter:

The Voivode's letter is hidden inside a tree north of Marika's hiding spot in Apollonia.

• Directions:
• Exit the cave where Marika and Bohush are hiding.
• Head northeast until you reach a small stream and the "Well" map marker. The "well" is a small puddle with a bucket.
• The interactable tree is nearby. It has a distinctive chunk taken out of its trunk.

Retrieving the Letter:

Interact with the Tree: Approach the tree with the missing chunk and interact with it.

Inventory Menu: An inventory menu will appear, showing the Voivode's letter of safe conduct.

Transfer to Inventory: Transfer the letter from the tree to your inventory.

Makeshift Storage (Optional): You can also use the hollow tree as a temporary storage spot for yourown items, although it's not the most convenient location.

Should You Give the Voivode the Letter?

Once you have the letter, you have two main choices:

Give it Directly: Youcan immediately return the letter to the Voivode without trying to helpMarika. Choosing the dialogue option "Here's the letter, to hell withMarika" will complete the quest and earn you a reward from the Voivode.However, Aranka and Marika will be upset with you.

Help Marika (Recommended): To achieve the "best" ending for Marika and Bohush, you'll need to talk to Aranka. She reveals that the Voivode is a gambler. This information allows you to challenge the Voivode to a wager for the amulet.

Winning the Wager:

Challenge the Voivode: Ask the Voivode to make a wager. He will agree, and you'll compete against Tibor in several competitions.

Sabotage Tibor (Optional): You can sabotage Tibor to make the competitions easier. This will ensure your victory and make the rest of the quest smoother.

Fair Play (Optional): If you prefer a challenge, you can try to beat Tibor fairly. Having a good horse is a major advantage in these competitions.

By choosing to help Marika and winning the wager, you can obtain both the Voivode's letter and the amulet, leading to the best possible outcome for the quest.
